Our family – five adults, two teenagers and a young child – stayed at Villa Thalassa for a week and loved every moment. The villa is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, fully equipped kitchen and six cosy bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a comfortable bed. The villa faces west over the sea, so every evening ends with a breathtaking sunset. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the spacious living room and the large dining table. The air-conditioning and Wi-Fi were excellent – something that mattered a great deal to me. Ten-minute drive away is the village of Mpatsi, with its tavernas, restaurants and little shops – the real Greece! Our host was very nice and attentive ! Andros stays remarkably green even in summer and remains unspoilt, with narrow winding roads and lovely small beaches. The steep dirt tracks down to the coast take you by surprise and ease you straight into the island's tranquil rhythm. For some of the beaches, a 4x4 is recommended. Getting there is easy: a short, pleasant ferry ride from Athens followed by a twenty-minute drive to the villa. We highly recommend it and would love to return.
