Modern, clean and comfortable. Central position.

Communication with the property manager was inadequate, emergency ph number not answered. A $500 bond was required, not just a credit card hold. “Private balcony” overlooks urban concrete non view.

Car parking was bit inconvenient in a multi story carpark

Location was great. Beds were very comfortable. Apartment was clean.

Heating was broken. We stayed there in winter, we were cold. Owner was emailed. We were advised that the pump on the heater was broken. Surely this is something we should have been advised of prior to our stay? Absolutely not good enough. The private balcony looked out over industrial rooves and one external door took us down a shaky stairwell, the base of which was full of rubbish. Crockery was in an overhead cupboard that was difficult to reach-also cutlery drawer was hard to find- small drawer at top of cupboard housing rubbish bins. Had the heating worked it might have been easier to overlook these additional complaints.

Whilst we were not enamoured with the location, it was great for walking to the main shopping area with everything available (clothes, food, groceries, cafes etc). We could also walk down to the wharf with a number of seafood restaurants. Also walking distance to museum and tourist office (great for booking tours).

Our main gripe was the balcony. We never went out on it. It looked out onto graffiti walls, dirty buildings and car park. To place the rubbish into the bin, one of us had to "steadily" descend the steps at the back.
