Lovely property and lovely friendly hosts, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at.

Beautiful old Victorian house with large rooms and high ceilings, lovely decor throughout. Warm welcome and loveliest hospitality from Betty, beautifully cooked breakfast and plenty of stories of travels and adventures plus local recommendations. Definitely a place I’d like to return to!

The little lanes around the property are very small, but it’s more of a characterful feature than a drawback! The house itself has plenty private off street parking.

It is a charming old building, with fantastic views over the town. Betty and Richard are fantastic hosts, everything was immaculately clean and the breakfast was delicious.

It was a bit of a challenge getting there in our Transit Custom, as the approach streets are quite narrow but with a bit of planning there is a way through.
