I really enjoyed my stay here and it worked perfectly for me. The host is very down-to-earth, friendly, and welcoming, and even let me check in early since the room was already vacant and ready, which I really appreciated. The place is SOOOO clean! I had seen previous reviews mentioning how good the sheets and towels smelled and didn't really understand why people were commenting on that...but now I 100% agree. 😂 They smell amazing, and I seriously wish I knew what they use so I could go buy it myself! The internet was great, the room was comfortable, and overall this was wonderful value for the money. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

The place was very clean and the owner was helpful. He arranged a taxi for me to cross the border of Kosovo for a fair amount of money. He speaks good English which is rare to find in Albania.

I was welcomed by the owners kid (10 years old) and did payment with the kid. Beds and mattresses were so uncomfortable. The location is a bit outside the city centre. There weren't any facilities like the kitchen, kettle, glasses, spoons, nothing (only fridge). The Internet was not so good but the situation was solved by connecting to the neighbours WiFi. The view from the window was the wall to the neighbours building. The stay was pretty much expensive for a standard of living in Kukës. You can find cheaper places in cities like Skopje, Prizren, or even in Brussels where I stayed for 17€ a night. That cannot be compared to undeveloped Kukës.
