Hotel Concord

Hotel Concord was lovely - the food at the pub was delicious and staff were great. The bed was comfy and linen was clean, bathroom was clean (depends how many people you have to share with and how clean they are!).

It was pretty loud unfortunately… Noise (chatting, laughing, music) until about 10:30pm (sometimes later) and that was on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night - I definitely wouldn’t want to stay there on a Friday or Saturday night. My ceiling fan didn’t work, but luckily there was a pedestal fan to keep me cool because I also couldn’t open the window. But that wasn’t too bad - the noise was the reason I wouldn’t stay again. Maybe my particular room just sat above the sports bar or something. Room 9.

The Staff And the bed was so comfortable

Location, right on top of the pub

So easy, staff was exceptional, clean, great value

I wish my room had better curtains

Hotel Concord is located in a beautiful and relatively quiet location, which I really appreciated. The amenities were kept relatively clean and the staff were friendly. The room was quite well soundproofed and the pub noises from downstairs didn’t keep us awake at night! Personally, the absolute highlight of the stay was the steak sandwich in the bistro, cooked to absolute perfection and a must try!

The bedroom itself had a fair few stains on the walls and lacked ventilation with none of the windows opening.
