Posizione tranquilla, in mezzo alla campagna. Ottimo servizio del ristorante collegato. Stanza grande e accogliente. Colazione a libero servizio ma abbondante e di qualità.

Zone comuni poco curate e un po’ abbandonate. Proprietario cordiale ma di poche parole, non ci ha consigliato sulle cose da fare in zona. La sensazione è un po’ di essere abbandonati a se stessi in una struttura abbandonata.

Alles was prima

Breakfast was good, but it is better not to be the last one to wake up, as pancakes or croissants were filled up only once. Nobody cleaned our room for 4 days, it would be nice if at least we could clean it by ourselves. Otherwise it was very nice.

Honestly my partner and I couldn't have had a better stay. We spent a whole week here working remotely, as a means to cover two back-to-back weekend events in France without having to fly out twice from London, nor taking a whole week off work. The moment we arrived the owners came to greet us and showed us around the place. They made the entire stay incredibly welcoming and were always attentive to our needs. The room was large, very large, with enough wardrobe space that we were able to empty two large suitcases into them. The bed was very comfortable and air conditioning dealt perfectly in keeping us cool with the hot and dry 30+C temperatures whilst we were working. Breakfasts were copious, European style (yoghurts, pastries, pancakes, bread, fruit, jams, cereals, fresh bottled juices, etc.). The pool, which we had to ourselves for practically the entire stay, was amazing, and just the right temperature to keep us warm during late night swims, or freshen us up after soaking up the sun on the numerous sun loungers. But the big bonus here was the restaurant. Really. Open from Wednesday midday to Sunday midday, it serves some of the best food we've had in a long time, and at very reasonable prices (coming from London). My partner is incredibly fussy with food, yet she loved every single dish we were served. The mixture of locally sourced fresh produce neatly topped with various emulsions, sauces, and flavourful herbs and seeds, all decorated with freshly cut edible flower petals, added an entire new dimension to this stay. Foodies, this is where you want to be!

Given our situation of having to work remotely for an entire week, internet speeds weren't sufficient to manage voice calls via MS Teams. Ultimately it wasn't a problem as we resorted to tethering via 4G roaming on our phones. But frankly, this isn't a place to be working, you should be relaxing by the pool, enjoying the sun, the incredible food, and local experience!
