The flat is located in the beautiful hamlet of PONTONE
just in between RAVELLO ( 4 km) and AMALFI ( 5km) where you will be able to feel the local italian life.
PONTONE is just above AMALFI
Away from the hustle and bustle but still very close.
From PONTONE, you could be independant from transportation, reaching AMALFI center & BEACH, using the ancient staircase.
980 STEPS / 25 min ~

the bus stop is 5 min walk from the apartment
20 min ride - 1,50 € / ticket
Apartment located in the main center of the village, few minutes from the local restaurants:
*ANTICO BORGO
*SAN GIOVANNI
*BLU BAR : Bar/ coffee shop & convenience shop with fresh bread every morning (apart on Sundays)
FROM AMALFI port : POSITANO & CAPRI are very easy to reach by ferry

The host was awesome! Went above and beyond to make us welcome in her small town. Helped arrange an early taxi, directed us in detail on how to easily get to the property, and provided all the tips and tricks to getting around the coast. The property was beautiful and the location was great!

Great apartment. Lots of space for a family of 4 and having two full bathrooms is great (plus laundry!). Pontone is beautiful - views, access to walking trails, 20-30mins to Amalfi (on bus or foot), 2 great restaurants, etc. Berengere is a great host - apartment was fully equipped, she gave great advice on local attractions/options, and was very responsive (homemade welcome lemon gelato was a nice touch!). Just be warned that it’s in Pontone (not Amalfi) so be ready for lots of stairs!

We had a wonderful stay , our hostess was very accommodating, extremely friendly . She showed us around the village, where to buy groceries, catch the bus ect. The apartment was very comfortable, we were able to do washing and enjoy the small village . We also walked to Amalfi & Ravello

This is a great unit thoroughly enjoyed it.Nestled up in the little village of Pantone it was fantastic . Several good restaurants in Pantone and a little shop to keep you in basic food . The unit is very clean and air conditioned ,no steps . The shuttle bus to Amalfi is a little bit unreliable . When we were there it was frequently full and we had to make other arrangements which meant walking down the road 15 minutes and catching another bus .I would not hesitate to recommend this villa .
