I like the area and the getaway. It was what I needed. I like the atmosphere. I went in with unknown expectations to no high standards, all because I wanted to be able to rate this resort and stay based solely on the experience without comparing it to other resorts I've stayed at. I thought the staff and options of the resort were all great. I loved how beautiful it looked and felt. The food was everything and the drinks were also great. We especially loved our 1st night bartender Marty, there was no other like him. The others were good but he was great. The music and night life was on point. Such a great time. It's a family resort and it still felt like an adult good time. I had an Amazing trip and stay and 10 out of 10 recommend

I truly wholeheartedly DID NOT LIKE the short over compensated ego manager who called me. He was very aggressive and rude and extremely disrespectful. He came in on the line Blazing hot and unprofessional, all to end up being wrong. I like the adult infinity pool but I feel it could hv stayed opened later...being that it was for the adults and we wanted to chill in the pool at night when it was more quiet.

La propiedad siempre está muy limpia, la comida es excelente y el personal es muy profesional y amable. Lo repetiría sin duda. Hacen muchas actividades. El buffet es muy variado.

Lo que no me gustó es que en el buffet la máquina del café dejó de funcionar y no lo arreglaron por 3 días pero aún así el café no faltó ya que hay una cafetería.

Overall, the Sandpiper is a beautiful property with a great deal of potential and we really enjoyed several things about our stay. Let’s start with the positives. 1. As I said, the property is beautiful. The landscaping is well maintained, lush and tropical, and there are several vantage points with covered seating where the view of the river is wonderful. 2. Our room was clean, spacious and new-looking. The view of the river from our balcony was great. 3. Kudos to all the bar tenders. We didn’t pay extra for the premium drinks but everything we had was well-made, tasty and to our liking, which isn’t always the case in some hotel bars we’ve visited. 4. The staff in general were friendly and helpful, with the people in the dining area particularly welcoming and eager to please. 5. We really appreciated the games available, and we played corn hole, ping pong, putt-putt, and used the pool tables and the wood shuffleboard quite a bit. 6. The food trucks were great. Solara near the adult pool makes some killer tacos. 7. The adults-only infinity pool is a great amenity; very restful and relaxing. 8. I liked the buffet more than my wife did. I thought breakfasts were great and had lots of choices causing me to eat too much every morning. My wife is a great cook and a touch food critic and enjoyed it less. 9. The fitness center is impressive with some excellent strength training equipment.

1. The front desk booked us into a room without a waterfront view and I had to have it changed. Kyle handled it as well as it could be done, but it shouldn’t have happened and it got us started on the wrong foot. 2. My wife and I are both avid pickleball players. We brought our equipment with us and were looking forward to playing while we were there. We were very disappointed when we learned there really aren’t any courts on the property or over at the academy. The courts on the property don’t have perimeter fencing and are therefore useless, and we’ve never seen courts anywhere without full fencing before. We feel like we were misled by your listing it as an amenity and honestly it made us somewhat angry. 3. Just a suggestion…we loved the adults-only infinity pool, but why do you have chaise lounges and umbrellas on the river side of the pool? Those things and the people using them completely negate the reason for having an infinity pool by destroying the sightline towards the river and beyond. Remove all that please. 4. We’ve never had such problems with the phone system in any hotel we’ve ever used. We had a flashing red light telling us we had voice messages, but we had no idea how to retrieve them. We also had no idea how to contact the front desk. Everyplace we’ve ever stayed there are buttons on the phone labeled “front desk” or dialing zero got the desk, but no matter what we tried nothing worked. l tried some of the labeled buttons at the top, but they all asked us for our “personal code”? What? 5. Another room issue: it was impossible to control the volume on the TV. Unbelievable, right? We tried everything but had to stop by the desk the next time we went to eat, and she sent a guy to help us. He never did figure out how to change the volume either and gave up and left. 6. Another room issue: the bottle of bath gel in the shower was completely empty, so there I was in the shower and had to call to my wife and ask her to bring me the bar of soap.
