There were ants in the room and used toiletries from previous guests.

This place is a big health hazard. Mold everywhere and unbearable smell. The entire place looked abandoned and poorly maintained.

We have stayed at this hotel for years and this was the first time I had seen the quality so low. There was mold in the tub caulking, the drain guard was broken it was just a big hole, and the show cut off didn't work you had to guess where to turn the shower off or it just kept going round and round. The room itself wasn't very clean there was dirt in the corners of the room. There was just a serious lack of decent dail cleaning and maintenance. Not something I would expect from a hotel priced the way this one is. We canceled all our future trips and will be looking for a new hotel for our frequent busch gardens trips

I've stayed here countless times with my semi large family of 5! I've tried other places in the area some more expensive - some cheaper and have been disappointed every time. I always come back to Country Inn! We love the hot continental breakfast!

The room had a bad smell, bathroom sink was clogged up, hair in the shower and hair on the towel. The carpets were nasty inside the room and in the hallway. My white socks were filthy after walking around in the room. Would not recommend this hotel.

Good stay. The room was comfy and clean. and it was stocked with toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and lotion) that I didn’t bring with me, so that was a big plus.

I was in Williamsburg on a business trip. The location was convenient to everything. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. I will be coming back.

The elevator needs service. It would stop on the multiple floors or not move at all. The heater was loud when turned on. Also, the train tracks are nearby and you can hear them.

Bath tub was cracked, toilet seat was broken, rust and mold above the microwave, and the whole second floor smelled like someone was smoking pot

Good breakfast. We stayed in a family suite room. Tons of space, but no doors on the bedrooms. Not a problem, just unexpected. Had one full bath and one half bath which was also a nice surprise. Stayed on the first floor. Tiled portion of the room was super cold. I think we were above the small parking garage so not sure there was a lot of insulation underneath. Located close to everything we normally do in Williamsburg. We would stay again.

Bathroom was about 60% renovated, not completed, the room was halfway cleaned, seemed like the previous guess only used one bed and only one bed was made. The other bed had things on it, and was not properly inspected. Overall the hotel is a good vibe but workers don’t take pride. Front desk lady with with long dreads was nice.

Arrived to find the sheets were disgustingly dirty - black marks on the pillow cases and unmentionable stains on the sheets. Was offered new sheets which I had to change. Was not offered any discount or anything.

Just outside of walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg, Country Inn was still conveniently situated.
Staff was helpful,
Breakfast was good: waffle machine, eggs and sausage, etc., but mad rush for food and people that can't clean up after themselves.
Rooms were fine, generally clean (don't expect spotless), the microwaves don't get cleaned every time I feel.
Overall it's par for the course at this price point.

Front staff was not friendly. Only received one towel for three people. Accidentally left my water bottle in my room. Front desk was very rude about going back to get it. When we called they said it wasn’t turned in. So we went back to the hotel and asked if we can go get it. The lady at the desk acted angry that we wanted it back.

The whole hotel felt dirty and had a strange smell. Chairs in the reception area had stains and dried food marks all over them, and in the elevator, there were poorly constructed handrails around the interior.
I doubt the hallways had been vacuumed in the last few days. Our room had clearly not been cleaned thoroughly since the last guest either. There was debris not vacuumed on the floor, dirt and hairs around the bath, there were hairs in the beds, thick marks where a cup had been next to the sink and toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror.
The staff apologized and moved us to another room which was a little cleaner, and by this point our children were falling asleep, so we had no choice but to stay. If we could have left I would have. It was shockingly bad.
I will never stay in this hotel again! Avoid if you have a choice!!

Great value for the money, but no eggs for breakfast, but otherwise we like it. Needs updating, but it’s a great budget hotel. We stayed here before and will be back if prices stay the same.

We had an issue with one room not being ready, but the front desk quickly and kindly moved us. All of the staff were very kind. The rooms were basic but clean and the hot breakfast was tasty. It’s great to have a dog friendly option like this. No complaints!
