We only stayed one night breakfast was very good

Stayed for 1 night at this hotel. Beds were truly comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent! Highly recommend!

It's been a bit refreshed but is a bit dated still. Room was ok, stain on the duvet cover which was a bit off putting. However - the real issue, buy a drink at the bar £6, I get another, get some food - and that when I noticed service charges suddenly being added without my approval and without any notification that they would include it! Next drink was nearly £8! I will be raising this with the hotel but be aware - I'm not impressed!

We have been guests for over 2 years and on this last visit was superb! Undoubtedly significant dining changes specifically breakfast area. Amiss is an extreme customer service devotee and ensures her guests experience their morning beginnings with a smile and the best service. Much improvement to kitchen culinary staff food was fresh and delicious not dried up left overs like before a few months in spring. 5 stars

Made to feel welcome by staff and enjoyed a pleasant stay. Would have preferred a dedicated shower cubicle in bathroom as getting in out of bath to shower was awkward and nearly fell backwards getting out

A great stay overall, our only slight complaint was that breakfast was not great although the room it is served in is full of character. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful

Our recent visit started on a bad note when the hotel tried to double charge us even though we had prepaid, the room was very noisy, there was an event on and I could not sleep. I had a terrible night sleep and woke up exhausted. The breakfast was average, not great. The hotel needs to do better. I will not be back ever again that is for sure.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. Bed super comfortable! Excellent shower. Spacious room. Bedroom Could be cleaner and perhaps done up as a little tired looking. Repainted. New fixtures in bathroom etc. communal areas lovely so overall would definitely recommend.

The property is truly a manor in look, feel and quality. We very much enjoyed it. Excellent in all ways.

Breakfast Buffet selection could have been a bit better for the hot food. Great shower but the screen was a bit small so bathroom gets a bit wet. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Stay was ok until departure when a speeding car sped past the rear or my car whist I was reversing out of a tight bay in hotel car park, apparrantly taking a late member of staff to the hotel. Partly blocking the passageway the car stopped for some time to let the staff member out of passenger seat. As I was trying to get passed it it carved me up by turning right in fron of me . All very dangerous, Need speed limits in car park and staff should be advised about the dangers. This problem casts doubt on whether I stay again.

I booked a superior double room and was given what they called the bridal suite. It was a big room with a very plain 4 poster bed, and a very soft mattress. A little underwhelming and disappointing had I been a bride I think. The dressing table chair was broken and very uncomfortable, and I struggled to get the room warm. Cleanliness was good, and breakfast was fine.

Second consecutive year l have stayed at Reigate Manor, five nights this time. Perfect location, convenient for M25, yet quiet and peaceful rooms. Ideally situated for exploring Surrey, comfy and spotlessly clean. Only one gripe, the Bar Menu/Room Service is very expensive. Perhaps this is typical of the South of England, but an eye opener to a Northener !

Beautiful hotel in a good location in Reigate. Only ate breakfast but that was excellent. Very good value.

We paid for a superior room with possible upgrade. We did not get a superior room until 2 nd night. The breakfast was disgraceful food awful t breakfast as they had someone who was overwhelmed and did not know what to do. We did point this out and they apologised. However we did not get any compensation for our first night. No fridges in rooms to keep anything cold. No air conditioners. The garden room is old and needs renovating badly. Curtain drapes smell old and musty. Parking is a nightmare for guests every time hotel has events. This has to be seriously resolved. Event guests should have other parking offsite.

Great all round though breakfast expensive ( so ate out elsewhere)

The team are very friendly and approachable, but great people doesn't make up for the general condition of the hotel qnd especially the rooms. Very tired, generally dirty, beds and pillows are old and uncomfortable, and the room temperature was absolutely crazy. One small damaged fan is not enough, and ended up with another terrible night's sleep. Ive stated at the hotel twice now, but sad to say, i wont be staying again.

Everything was fine about our stay except the hotel doesnt have air conditioning and on a very hot weekend made it very uncomfortable even though we were provided with fans.

I liked the period styling of the interior. Our room was small and over looking the bins and the main road. The night was hot so the windows had to be open which allowed the road noise in and the noise of the bins being filled. Late in the night a resident decided to sing at the top of her voice.

The pros - excellent team, really friendly and personable. Room shower was amazing and powerful. The cons - food was really poor. Ordered a pizza, and was served a frozen chicago town pizza with some salad thrown on top. Beds and pillows were generally uncomfortable, and i was awoken at 5:30am by a film crew takinh over the car park with vans, generators and ridiculous levels of noise. Why the hotel allowed it is beyond me.

The cleanliness and staff were excellent. We had an expensive breakfast which was a disappointment. Although the variety was good the freshness was not. I ordered a piece of fish which had stood under the heater for what looked like ages when it was presented to me. A very expensive breakfast.

Lovely hotel but staff & bar was not good at all, staff never seem happy to see you, we went to bar & none of the pumps was working so had to have bottles, I think that once this hotel was amazing, wernt impressed

Very interesting and old property. Much history there. The staff are polite and willing to accommodate special requests. The property is a bit isolated (that is both good and bad). Very quiet stay, but a bit of a walk to shops and restaurants. The food quality on the property was very good.

The hotel is in dire need of updating/ facelift, in absolutely every aspect.
