Decent hotel in a decent area of pac heights

Clean. Easy to get around. Went to oracle park

What one would expect of a Holiday Inn. Comfortable bed, secure and safe.

Stayed during the RSA conference, which does not allow for many affordable options in the city. The hotel was clean and relatively comfortable. The area is ok, not much to do, but a short Uber from most places. Only issue was street noise or elevator noise which could be heard from most of the rooms (there were several of us staying), but over all a good hotel in San Francisco.

The room was adequate in size. The view was amazing from our 24th floor corner room with windows giving a 180deg view of the bay and surrounding mountains.

Rooms held a smell. Had to be moved rooms because my initial room smelled like cigarettes, my second room smelt like old cleaning products; but I just dealt with it because I was only there a few nights. Hair in tub or on the floor in the bathroom in both rooms. :\

Easy access to cabs etc and right downtown. Cafe in house has very good sandwiches which was helpful. Wish the wind was less :( but the pool deck was nice and comfy chairs. Would have loved to use the pool but wrong time of year.

The hotel is in a safe area that is very import since sadly a lot of areas in SF are very unsafe. Not to many rest around, but is Next to starbucks! Good parking, if you ride an SUV you are fine here.

Amazing place

Early check in fee??? 35.00 to check in 45 minutes before 3pm. 30.00 for breakfast?? Paid extra for a corner room with a view. That was the only thing enjoyable.

We stayed two nights. The room was fine. Everything was clean. The hotel/maybe just room/floor was quite old and could use some updating but otherwise the place was clean and well maintained.

Customer service is awful. The workers ignore you and give attitude. At check in, I told the guy behind the counter that I had a parking ticket to the garage. He asked me for it and said the room key would give us access in and out. So I gave him the parking garage ticket. Then at check out, I went to do so and the lady waved her hand for me to leave. So I asked if I’d need the room key to get out…she said NO and waved us along. Sure enough, got stuck exiting the parking garage. And when we GOT out of the car to tell them….the manager gave us a prepaid ticket to get out and asked how this happened. The girl who had just waved us off eye rolled and called me a (profanity) for telling the manager exactly what happened. The cleaning staff was friendly though, always a hi when passing by. Room was clean but pillows suck

Family trip to San Francisco. This hotel was perfect location for us conveniently located to the trolley and less than 3 miles from Padres stadium. Staff was SO nice and the hotel was very clean!! We will definitely stay again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy, if expensive, and was mush appreciated. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast, although not included. was worth paying for and staying for. Would definitely consider going back.

The room was standard and a little outdated, coffee maker and fridge. The pool had a nice view but was only open during certain hours. Fire Alarm went off during our last night, most of the hotel guests were evacuated via the alarm at 2 am. There was nobody knocking on doors and guiding people where to go, just an alarm, five minutes after the firemen left. Guests were still piling out of the stairwell confused as to what happened. No staff to guide them back to their rooms. I was not comped a room for the night in the future. I was not apologized for the interruption of sleep, subpar service for a very expensive five days. The bed was the only thing that was comfortable. The AC was set on high, it was warmer outside at 50 degrees than inside of the hotel. Would not reccommend 2/10. Date of Stay 3-19/23-2024

Fantastic stay. Staff was fantastic. Best holiday inn I’ve ever stayed at.

Only minor complaint was there was no fan in the bathroom so everything steamed up when showering. Other than that, the place was great.

Had a fantastic stay in the holiday inn very convenient to all amenities and to the local tourist attractions Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful and very welcoming Will definitely be staying at the same hotel when I come back to San Francisco

Clean, Easy checkin, superb stay

My night at Holiday Inn in San Francisco was exceptional! The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the city, and the amenities provided exceeded my expectations. The convenient location made it easy to explore the city, and the overall experience was truly memorable. I highly recommend Holiday Inn for anyone looking for a fantastic stay in San Francisco!

Nice location

The good stuff: The pillows & bed were comfortable. Room was on the 8th floor, close to the end of the hall. Decent view. It was quiet. We didn’t have any issues with the heat or anything in the room. It was nice that shampoo/conditioner and body wash are provided. The front desk did allow a late check out which helped since our flight was early evening. A few times we ordered from Door Dash or Uber eats & plasticware was not included. The hotel staff was always helpful in providing those as well as change for the washer/dryer. The complaints: Hotel washers/dryers are expensive. It cost nearly $10 to wash/dry a load. The restaurant was pricey & had a very limited selection of food. **BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE ROOM** Would have been great if the hotel had an indoor pool or hot tub. We came in March and it was chilly outside during the day and night. Overall, I would recommend the hotel as a good place to stay. It would be nice to have had breakfast included in the price of the room. The hotel is a little outdated & could use some updated furniture/decorations. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
