Every part of this stay was bad. I showed up to find that I had to pay for parking, which isn't that bad - except that the parking lot is full of homeless people. I literally had to step over a homeless person to get to my truck that night. Then, after receiving an email stating that my deposit would be $75 - the hotel charges my CC $250 - which they still haven't released a week later. My room was an accessible room - so my toilet was 9" too tall, the shower was a walk in, and there were hand rails everywhere. Since I am not in a wheelchair, it was inconvenient. The staff did nothing to remedy the deposit or the room situation. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The stay did not start out so well. Bas WiFi, toilet did not work. The gentleman at the front desk had me switch rooms to a better room and things were much better.

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice pool area.

Bad management treatment, and hidden charges outrages

When booking this hotel I was never told about having to pay for parking which was 12 a night. The first representative I spoke with once I reached the property Nicole was amazing she helped me as much as possible with everything even tried to get me and early check in. My first problem came when the last night I was there the cleaners came in and removed all the towels without letting me know. I mean they did not clean anything just got all the towels and I didn’t notice this until it was midnight and I have came in and about to take a shower so I called the front desk only for the night guy to get smart mouth (I told him that the cleaners must have came in and got all my towels and he was like so I said is there anyone that can bring me some remind you I have no clothes on and he was like nah I can’t you got to come get them at that point I hung up and my husband asked what happen and he went to get them only to get there and he ask the gentleman where are the towels my wife just called about the guy stated what you want me to do about it. Besides this problem everything else was ok.

This stay was below average. Staff was super friendly but people were loud all night, the elevator was sketchy and shut down periodically. It was also tiny. The room was missing a fire alarm. And only had 2 tiny pillows. Would not stay at this location again. La quintas are a reliable hotel chain for me. But never will I stay at this location

Was very happy with what we got for the price and very convenient to airport..when we first pulled up seemed a lil scetchy but was pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable the room was and staff was accommodating didn’t know we had to pay to park but that may have been my fault for not looking at what was included…but yeah it’s a repeat of flying out of nola

Wifi didn’t work.

The pictures is not what it is. Bathroom had hair in the shower/on the wall. Don’t look like they clean the bathroom floor.House keeping didn’t come the 2 days I was there.

Not what we expected with the brand. We’ve stayed at La Quinta often. This was subpar. Bathroom needs updating. Lack of necessities provided like soap and paper. Friendly staff. Large pool. Restaurants close by.

The room overall smelled good, no mildew smell. The shower/tub had black stains or mold. The showerhead wasn’t attached to the wall and the showerhead was way too low for a normal height person, let alone a 6 ft person.

The room was clean and spacious. The shower needs some attention. The pillows were pretty flat. The AC was great. It was quiet, easy to find and very close to the airport. You do have to pay to park though.

The staff at the LaQuinta was super friendly, very helpful and patient - especially the Sunday morning manager who helped me for check-out. The lady who filled and refilled the breakfast items on Saturday was also very kind and patient. I wish I could say good things about the condition of the hotel. Maybe it's just natural aging, but the bathroom fixtures had cracks in them and the soap dish in the shower was nasty looking. The hot water was great - but the room temperature was very difficult to adjust. I feel that the workers need a better place to be working in - they get fussed at about things that are not in good shape - and that is not their fault. Parking was pretty good - but why do I you have to pay to park at a room you just rented for a couple of nights.

We booked through hotels.com. I was traveling with my wife and two teenage daughters so I reserved a room with two full beds. When we are arrived, I was told they only had a room with one king and we're sold out. Apologized but we were still stuck and because we did it a late check in, around 11 PM, it was really too late for me to try to find another place to stay on a busy weekend. I was disappointed. I received an email notification that all was confirmed as reserved. The staff was friendly, apologetic, and helpful. My wife and Iended up using towels for pillows and I ended up sleeping on the floor and had a terrible night. Better communication with their third-party reservations as needed.

Never had a hotel that also charged for parking and didn’t offer validating for customers. The room was spacious but dated.

My experience was terrible. I was asked to provide a deposit of $250 but I have no idea why. My bed was disgusting and there were traces of human (or dog) feces within the sheets - I can barely believe it myself.

I was hit with surprise charges. I expected some sort of incidentals deposit because I stay at several hotels throughout the year but a $250 deposit was absolutely ridiculous and unexpected. Also I have never stayed at a hotel where there is open lot parking that required a payment for it's guests. I had to pay $18 to self park my vehicle in an open lot. These charges were extremely unexpected and need to be clearly stated to guests prior to booking. Had I known these things, I'm sure I would have opted to stay somewhere else.

Good quick stay but the breakfast was nearly nothing , not the best for any hotel we stayed.

Let’s start with the front desk agent. During check in I was notified that a $250 incidental fee would be held on my card. When I asked to see that in writing, I was repeatedly told “it’s on the website” by the guy working the desk. I’ve checked the website and it is not there, nor was it ever shown to me in person. The microwave was broke, hallways smell like cigarettes, half the lamps in the room didn’t work, the television turned on but doesn’t show anything other than an HDMI error screen, and the bathtub was STOPPED UP. Literally…the first person took a shower and the water filled halfway up the tub and never drained…ever. They need to do better, LaQuinta has actually improved a lot over the years, but this location is horrible.

Our first stay was great. Walkable places to eat. I will do survey for 2nd stay - horrible.

We waited at the counter (9:40pm) for 20 minutes. No one showed up to check us in. I called out and waved at the cameras. I expect a full refund! We have been traveling all day since 5:30am and was very tired. We ended up driving home since, no one showed up to check us in.

Great Service it was Mardi Gras but they were nice and patient

The property was okay into we actually got into our rooms and came across the restroom where the tub had hair, was peeling paint and had mildew in the tub. The bathroom also had a very bad smell to it. I ended up going to buy cleaning supplies because there is only house keepers in the day time to help and I arrive later in the day to my room

Never had this happen, unbelievable. Checked in and got the key, get to my room only to find it already occupied. Ok may be that can happen. Go down and get a new key and guess what? There are already people in the room - again!! Go down again to get yet another key. Now the receptionist follows me to my third room to make sure it’s empty - thank you, yes. Put furniture in front of the door to be sure to avoid unexpected new comers to enter the room.

Excellent accommodations, clean, comfortable and good amenities. Just a little surprised that there is a charge for parking in an open lot

They’ve removed the restaurant, the music in the bar from a tv was overwhelmingly and unnecessarily loud, the first room I was given wreaked of smoke, the second and third rooms I was given didn’t have functioning air con/heat, and the shuttle service to the airport has been eliminated.

WE WERE TOLD THEY HAD A SHUTTLE FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL. THEY DID NOT. CAB FARE $20 TO HOTEL, $40 TO CRUISE SHIP DOCKS ( DROPPED OF A WRONG CRUISE LINE)

We reserved a king bed, and were given a double room, even though we paid for a king, and all they told us that they were all sold out.
