The hot tube is broken and the "heated pool" was still outside and freezing cold. If you are wantinf a pool, dont go here. Besides that, the room was nice and the staff were helpful. Just bad advertisement for the pool

Front desk staff was exceptional. The hotel, and room, were very clean and felt incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

stayed overnight and beds were comfy...a few pillow choices...downtime with a tv and of course watched nhl...

Have stayed numerous time and found staff friendly enough and in general the hotel is very clean and adequately supplied

The staff are always great and you can’t beat the view from the ocean view room. The gym is great and is walking distance to downtown.

Amazing stay Love tha pet friendly aspect

We have stayed at this property many times. It remains our favourite hotel for a short getaway. The staff at this hotel are some of the most friendly and helpful we have encountered. The ocean view from our room was amazing. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good and nicely presented. The premises have been tastefully decorated . Our room was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable.

Friendly staff, clean, nice restaurant. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful ocean views

From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm smile by the front desk staff. The smell is amazing, not too perfumy. The furniture is well suited to the space. It's bright and super clean. It's right on the water and pet friendly. We can't wait to come back and try the new pool facilities. Room service was delicious and fast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Sad to see the pool has been shut down since End of August.

NIce place Rates are up but so are the amenities Do wish there was a light above the easy chair as it is impossible to read unless you crawl into bed Happens in a lot of hotels - perhaps the decorators don't know how to read?

It was our 40th Anniversary and we were suprised that the manager of guest relations gave us a bottle of champagne on ice in the room upon arrival. The start of a great weekend.

I really enjoyed my stay here. When I arrived, about 10:30 pm, they had the 2 bedside lamps turned on and the tv was on and was playing very calming music. It was a very welcoming feeling. Being able to walk down to the beach was awesome. They even have a hose with water to rinse your shoes, or feet, after walking through the the bea h areas, after the tide goes out. I only wish that I had known that I could get an ocean view room with a balcony. There was only one thing that concerned me a little. My door seemed to be a bit crooked, causing a gap at the bottom, which allowed light in constantly. I was a little concerned that someone might be able to see in so I was very cautious walking to the bathroom.

The only complaint we had was a lot of noice between rooms and above. We love the dining area and the view from the balcony.

The hotel was very nice and access to the beach was perfect. The clerk (we both have curly hair) helped me with hair product questions and even offered to let me use hers! lol

We were so surprised at the upgrades. It is beautiful. The service at the front desk was amazing. The woman (seemed like a manager) gave us two free coffee vouchers for the lovely little coffee and snack outlet and we were in the room for 20 minutes and we had a call from the front desk asking if we were happy with our room!!! I am well travelled and I’ve never had this service before. Well done!

The property was good staff friendly. It has been over 24 hrs and I still haven't rec'd the email copy of my bill that I was promised.

Beautiful views

We have been coming to this hotel for over 35 years. It has finally received a long overdue refresh of the room interiors. However what has shocked us is how expensive the rooms are. On the way out of town we stopped to look at the Beach Club Resort hotel, which is a much nicer newer hotel, also on the waterfront. We were shocked to find the prices are not only comparable, they were slightly cheaper.

Very friendly and helpful desk staff. Our room was clean, with soft music playing as we entered, nice touch! Also we arrived on a very hot day and the air conditioner was on which was very much appreciated! Bed was very comfortable with nice room amenities!
