In room safe was broken. Room wasn’t serviced over a three day stay. No anti slip strips in tub/shower.

It was very good from check in to check out. Staff was really friendly. Even though i havent gotten my $100 deposit back yet.

This trip trip was in short notice and only 1 day. Room was quiet; did not hear any noise from other adjacent rooms. Basic bath amenities worked well. Towels weren’t luxuriously plush but still comfortable, soft and did the job of drying off well. Bedding was comfortable. TV had plenty of choices; sports, news and movies.

Much more clean and modern than anticipated. Great value for money

WAS WORTH WHAT WE PAID. CHECK-IN AND OUT WAS EASY. WE HAD AN EARLY FLIGHT ARRIVAL TO VEGAS AND WAS ABLE TO PARK OUR CAR AT ELLIS ISLAND WHILE WE TOURED THE STRIP BEFORE OUR CHECK IN TIME. VERY CLOSE TO THE STRIP. FELT SAFE WALKING TO ANF FROM THIS HOTEL TO THE STRIP.

Quiet, affordable, clean and close to everything. Ellis Island was all I needed for a work trip. Only issue was running out of hot water one morning.

Easy check in, clean room

Ellis Island added additional upchargesd that nearly doubled the total cost of the rooms! This is COMPLETELY unexpected and totally unprofessional. Had we been aware of the additional expenses we could have chosen better accomodations for the same price!

I usually stay at the Rio and had never considered Ellis Island before. The price was right so I figured.. why not? It was actually really nice. The charge for a microwave is a bit ridiculous. I mean by all accounts a room should come with one and the bed was a bit firm for my liking but I enjoyed the location and was even able to take a walk to the sphere! I would definitely stay here again. It was very clean and the front desk clerk was very nice.

This is a worthy Vegas hotel. If you can get a good rate plus resort fee for under $100 it is well worth it. The short time between the car and the room i saw security every time which made me feel safe. The hotel is behind the strip but a 20 min walk will get you on the strip which is nothing in Vegas. There is free self parking and getting in and out is hassle free. There are wooden blinds instead of curtains, which i prefer. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker in the room. The room was clean and comfortable and i would definitely stay again.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. The restaurants is excellent. We enjoyed very the fish and chips, the sirlion is so good, quesadillas was full of flavour, the smokey burguer was excellent. Great portion sizes at a very reasonnable price. Home made beer was also excellent for the pric. We diffently we be back and recommended to friens due to it's excellent foid and central location,just off the strip. Many thanks for your hospitality!

Convenient location and free parking make this older "resort" a bargain. Very clean and kept up to date. Fun casino on site plus a great restaurant with great prices. I will definitely be back.

This is our official “go to” hotel to stay at in Vegas when we don’t want to blow a bunch of money on good hotel accommodations. Our most recent trip was due to a medical emergency that a family member needed support with. We brought my niece and nephew along who are 7 and 9, one being autistic and easily overstimulated. I was confident he would do well at Ellis. It’s not big or fancy, it’s not on the strip. However it’s conveniently located, decently comfortable, always clean, and they have fantastic restaurants! The hotel is in a separate building from the casino and restaurants so this is great if you have children who don’t do well in bright lights and noisy environments for a long period of time. Parking is wrapped snugly around the hotel so you can almost always find a parking spot close by instead of walking an exhausting distance with luggage in tow. If you like to gamble, the casino has great slots, we’ve never lost our butts playing lol. Oh and they make a good Bloody Mary! Security is absolutely on it!!! No riff raff here! I can’t say enough good things. If you’re looking for a well maintained place to crash close to the strip that won’t break the bank, Ellis Island is a great choice. We will most certainly be back and back again.

The room was ok. Toilet was crooked. The shower curtain was only the outer, thin cloth material so water leaked through it when you showered. There was no housekeeping service for the three nights we were there. There was no separate container for recyclables, so we have no idea if they recycled the plastic bottles we left.

Hotel was out dated, but room was extremely clean. Staff in the hotel, the restaurants and the casino were super friendly and courteous. Drinks and food were significantly cheaper than on-strip hotels, which was about a 10 minute walk. All food was amazing and well priced as well!

After reading all the good reviews for this property, we were incredibly disappointed with our stay. The staff were kind, everything was clean, the free parking is convenient and the dining is a very good value, but the room and bathroom were very cramped, the beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable and we had to lug our suitcases up the stairs because the elevator was broken. My son actually cried because he so badly wanted to go back to the comfortable room we stayed in the night before on the strip. Then early on Saturday morning, a garbage truck was moving dumpsters around near our window for a solid 20 minutes of clanging and beeping, so I'm not sure if multiple dumpsters are stored here and this is a common occurrence, but it was very frustrating since the entire point of staying off the strip was to get a little more peace and quiet. If you need a good value for a quick off-the-strip stay and don't have other options, this will do the trick, but if a comfortable bed and good night sleep is important to you, I would definitely recommend staying somewhere else.
