We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Grand Teguise Playa so I felt it was only right that I wrote this review. The hotel is well managed and the staff are friendly and efficient and helpful in every department. The food in the restaurant is very good with a wide selection every night. I have coeliac disease and other food intolernaces and the restaurant staff went out of their way to cater for my needs. The hotel is big and spacious and although it was full throughout our stay it never felt crowded. The pool area is beautiful with plenty of sun beds both in the shade and in the sun. There is entertainment every evening which is varied and mostly of a good quality. The hotel is well situated in the centre of the resort with direct access on to the promenade and sandy beaches are close by. Costa Teguise is the quietest of the three main resorts In Lanzarote but there is plenty to do both in the resort and on the island. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a great holiday in Lanzarote. Well done and thank you to the managment and staff.

Hotel overall was very good - could of been done better food options in evening time and New Year’s eve Gaka dinner was too long - 7 courses.

Best hotel ever! The stuff is so friendly and helpful. The property is clean and beautiful. Rooms are big, clean and in good condition. The food at the restaurant is amazing with lots of choices. The pools outside are great !

Great hotel, staff very friendly, immaculately clean. The small pool that was used by children was very cold, where the other pools were lovely and warm. Good selection of food. Day time activities aimed at adults not much for younger children. Very well situated and would definitely go back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, from the staff to the food and the decor.
Lots of food and drink options too.
Also a lovely stroll along the beach which is on the door step .
I really would recommend this hotel.

Easy to find a seat and great service.
Rooms could be a bit cleaner kept finding little flies about. Comfortable beds and nice linen.
Lovely view of pool and sea floor 1 same floor as reception so no need for use of lifts perfect.
Did ask to keep our room longer on check but was told hotel was fully booked not sure how true this was. Not a problem as there was changing area.
Didn’t like the fact people go out and put towels on the sunloungers this should be stopped or staff should remove the towels.
Would we go back ? Yes definitely

We have stayed in several 4 and 5 star places across Lanzarote and so far this one has been the best. The room was huge (we booked a suite). Staff were friendly and the place was centrally located and immacualtely clean. It is also better value than a lot of the others. We recently stayed at Malia Selinas which was double the price of this and nowhere near as good.

Great staff, wonderful location, super rooms and pool. But no room in the central section cannot escape the very loud "entertainment" that runs to midnight every night. Also the food was very bland and unadventurous. Certainly not to 4* standard.

The service inside the hotel was excellent, special thanks to the Porter who helped me to print my travel form on a way back to UK. Wonderful food three times a day, drink for free and warm pool with salty water to swim!!! What else to wish after very cold, rainy winter in the UK!!!

We stayed 2 nights with half board. Our stay was ok. The hotel is a 4-star so service was more or less at that level. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food in the buffet is not bad in general. There is a very small corner with gluten free bread, cereals and pastry but that’s it. No vegan/vegetarian alternative for sausages or bacon. There are alternative milks, soya, oat and lactose free. And there is live cooking where they cook fried eggs and omelettes. The room was nice, well presented at arrival and there was this plate with fresh fruit. The shower trail got full of water easily when having a shower. The hotel was very clean and the staff were constantly keeping all the facilities clean. Generally good.

Disappointed by attitude from staff. COVID rules are COVID rules, but I felt staff were quite rude and abrupt in sever circumstances, including at dinner when I accidentally went the wrong direction through there one way system to get food. Also when I asked for water at the outside bar, my mask was a little loose and rather than ask me to adjust it I just got yelled at and told to go away and come back. Room was lovely, location was great, but I felt let down by hotel staff.

The location of the hotel is very good in Costa Teguise, we were half board and there were plenty of restaurants in walking distance if we fancied a change. The way the hotel faces gives most rooms a sea view.
While our room was clean it was a bit tired and is probably due for a refurbishment, the furniture was scratched and walls in places where you would expect e.g Suitcase areas etc.
The rest of the hotel though is well maintained and plenty to do in the hotel and surrounding area.

It is a lovely hotel, cleaned all day every day, the entertainment was ok but if you’re staying for longer than a week be prepared for a repeat performance. The food is excellent.

I have stayed at this Hotel before and the same problem as last time in the bathroom, the seal around the shower glass spills onto the tiles around the toilet, although not a major problem and not worth reporting.

Disappointing room. Tiles cracked in bathroom and bath badly marked. Furniture in room very outdated. Sofas near lifts on 1st and ground floor very worn and tired looking. Same sofas as when we visited four years ago!

This hotel was so bad that we left the very next morning and checked into a local 3 star hotel that 1 was cleaner 2 A LOT cheaper 3 better entertainment, I booked this hotel after seeing it before yes the pool is nice and location but the inside is more of a 2/3 star. Room was dirty and had bugs in the bed forcing us to be moved at 1am in the morning, cracked walls, battered furniture, discoloured walls and carpet honestly it was a joke. The only positive is that they refunded the further 4 nights!

We stayed for 7 nights All Inclusive in a Standard Double. The room had a balcony with excellent sea views and the was cleaned spotlessly every day. There was a great choice of food each day at breakfast, lunch and dinner (buffet style), as well as snacks throughout the day. The staff were excellent and always had a smile on their faces. They were always happy to help. The Animacion team who organised and delivered activities throughout the day were brilliant. The hotel is located within a very short walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops. Wifi is available for 30 mins each day with no charge. After that there is a charge, but wifi is available for free at all times in the bars over the road (however there's more than enough to do without needing to use it!). I would recommend this hotel for families/groups and couples.

Clean hotel, staff pleasant enough. Hotel is a bit dates but doesn't put you off. Animation staff were excellent, lots of activities and great location right off the beach. Bit windy but you'll still get burnt/tanned. Food was good and loved the revolving bar. Only gripe is sunbed reserving - had to be up 7am to book one!

superb location on sandy beach and centre of resort. Hotel a little dated, but had all the required facilities. Was spotlessly clean and lovely bar area and sea view and balcony for all rooms. Stayed on a b+b basis and there was every type of breakfast food you could possibly think of.

This hotel has changed hands since we last stayed three years ago. A number of things have improved as a result. The staff are friendly, efficient and impressively multi-lingual. The range of food at lunch and dinner is very good, though I found breakfasts disappointing: terrible tea and coffee, synthetic-tasting fruit juice, poor quality bacon, ham and cheese. There is an excellent range of facilities and activities to choose from. Their 'Animation team' (up-market redcoats) do an excellent job of coaxing people into participating in such activities as rifle shooting, paella demonstrations, and so on. I noticed some marvellous activities for children. I also enjoyed a first-class massage there. Overall, it's a very large hotel that nevertheless doesn't get noisy or feel overcrowded. I strongly recommend it.

The public areas of the hotel have been kept up to scratch, but the corridors and stairs are in need of redecoration, in particular the carpets are well past their sell by date. In general the bedrooms are clean and comfortable, but the bathroom needed refurbishment, for example the grouting round the sink was black and unsightly and there were a number of cracked tiles on the floor. The towels were on their last legs.

Hotel a little tired now (fist here 8 years ago). Still fab position, wonderful balcony, perfect sea view from our 6th, top, floor room. Food OK if chosen carefully. Maitre'd a great laugh - it is worth knowing a bit of Spanish to chat. Walls of course paper thin. Pool warm, very warm compared to the sea. Plenty sunloungers. Played a lot of tennis & walked.
