I first stayed at this hotel in the early 90s, and chose it for both nostalgia and the Hampton name. I was unfortunately greeted with an aged hotel that has not kept up, and is in the middle of messy, chaotic construction. Definitely not the standard I expected from Hampton, so I'm glad it was a single night stay.

I’d check my other options first. This hotel is under a long, painfully slow, much needed renovation. The staff is incredibly nice and I feel bad that they’re dealing with a poorly managed facility. They clearly all did not like the hotel manager who seemed very uptight and arrogant when dealing with her staff. The main elevator was broken and the rear elevator only went to certain floors. The main stairwell has a nasty dirty old carpet. The freshly painted stairwells on the ends look much better but still have a slight new paint smell. The front desk is a folding table in the entryway. Doors slam hard and loud and there’s very little sound barrier. The toilet didn’t flush well. The shower drain wouldn’t stay open. The thermostat had a bright blue screen that stayed lit up all night. I had to throw a towel over it. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work. The breakfast was great but the toasters were fickle. Honestly, it was a great breakfast though. Better than a lot of places. My room was clean, not perfect, but acceptable. The TV worked. The location is great for convenience. Right off the highway. Short drive or ride to downtown. Food options within walking distance. Seemed to be enough parking but mostly in the rear and with the elevator not working and stairs that only go to certain floors it became a maze to get around. The front desk people were very nice. There is construction going on yet it seems like very little is getting done. One of the contractors was working in flip flops.

They were renovating the hotel and the elevators only went up to the 4th floor and i was on the 5th floor. So i had to walk up one flight of stairs. When i left on Sunday instead of Monday the front desk lady was rude!! The potatoes at breakfast were awful and cold. Bed bugs bit me on face arms and legs because of renovation. Awful stay.

The check-in was slow, as the hotel was under reconstruction and there were many guests checking in at the same time, with only one person to handle it. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good and plentiful. It is a convenient on and off from I-89. Exiting the hotel property can be challenging, as there are multiple cars coming and going to other stores behind the hotel, but overall, it is a good place to stay.

We had an amazing time and all the staff was very friendly. The hotel has some remodeling that is getting done and everyone was very accommodating not to have guests in those areas if it could be helped.

This hotel is right off the highway, so it’s easy to get to. It’s close by to the downtown area. The breakfast was hot and fresh with a good variety of choices. I would stay here again if I’m back in the area.

This Hampton Inn had a nice pool, and a pretty decent workout room too! The breakfast had an awesome "make your own flavored waffle" with all sorts of toppings! It's close to Costco too, and only 10 minutes from the Burlington airport!

We stayed at this hotel twice before in the last couple of months because of a family member who needed surgery at UVM Hospital. This was the third time for the final procedure. They Price Gouged the room rate up $100 due to the Eclipse (which wasn't even happening for another 5 days) even though the room was booked for medical reasons. We precooked an accessible room, but were told that we had a regular room booked (even though we paid extra for the accessible room). They fixed our room type, but as stated, an accessible room was booked ahead. There was construction in the lobby, but they still changed us the gouged rate. At least the breakfast was really good.
