Bolongo Bay Beach Resort

I loved the size and location of Bolongo Bay Resort, and there were no sounds of roosters. My ocean view room was calming and relaxing. I loved looking at the water and sky. To me, the food was amazing. The bar did an excellent job making the non alcoholic drinks that I ordered, and I absolutely loved the breakfast, lunch and dinner choices at the Oasis and Iggies. All of the staff that I encountered were kind and willing to help if I needed anything. The people were one of the best features at this resort along with the view and location of the Caribbean Sea. Also, Jonathan was simple outstanding. He shared things to do on the resort, gave a tour of the resort and gave a history lesson about the resort. I found that I love kayaking. One thing that could use more attention are the rooms, at least the room I was in. The bathroom and room could use a fresh coat of paint. In addition, for housekeeping the ceiling fan blades could use dusting along with the head board on the beds. In addition, the a/c worked but the remote was very temperamental a few times. The balcony door in my room was very difficult to open on the last day of my stay due to the humidity. The shower could use some bleach to get rid of some of stains on the shower walls. The bathroom sink drain worked but the water drained slowly. And the curtain rod needed adjusting so that the curtains can opened without the rod falling. Overall, I love this resort. The all inclusive meal choice with the room was perfect.

Staff was amazing and super helpful. I plan on going there annually. The good and drinks were amazing as well! Get the all inclusive package you won’t regret it

Great stay!! Would go back! Pros: Great food and bars! All-Inclusive well worth it Laid-back Caribbean vibe, family friendly Quiet (unless you go to Iggie's when the live entertainment is on nightly) Comfortable beds Nice Beach and activity area Well maintained- beach area sometimes gets sargassum blooms that wash in from the west, but they have a crew that cleans them up Very friendly service Free kayak, snorkel, hobie cat etc Catamaran activities available at resort pier (extra charge) are amazing HUMMINGBIRDS! Cons: Not the best choice if disabled or mobility-challenged- no elevator, paths may be too narrow for some wheelchairs Rooms are clean and nice, but older- small shower and relatively few outlets Overall, if you don't mind the small shower and lack of elevator, and if you are looking for great food, plentiful drinks and easy access to water and beach activities, this place is for you!

Amazing place to stay with beyond and professional friendly employees. The food was immaculate. Music every night, swim up bar, nice relaxing vacation.
