I checked in and when I went to the room, it looked like somebody has already checked in there- messed up bed, towels etc. I got a different room. The room is not very clean, it smells, lotion container was empty.

Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff

Overall quality was fine. There was cleaner residue on the desks, a lizard in the bathroom and no hot water this morning. Those are the 3 main negatives about my stay otherwise it was clean, quiet, and a friendly staff.

We wereon a trip in the South East and being able to access our room early was a big bonus. Easy to find and short drive to downtown.

Before we checked in we went to the beach. My child’s insulin pump broke in the water and there was no way to give her insulin or control her diabetes. We rushed to check in and figure out how to manage her diabetes out of town. The front desk was so supportive and listened to me as I was so upset. They quickly got us in our room. After we got the doctor to send prescriptions to pharmacy there, the front desk made sure I knew how to get to the pharmacy (it was a Saturday evening and we needed to use a pharmacy in North Charleston due to early closing of other stores). When we got back to the hotel, they asked again if we got everything figured out and if we needed anything. The next morning when we were checking out, the same lady was there and asked again if my child was ok. The customer service was beyond what I ever expected. They remembered us every time and asked if we were ok. The hotel room was perfect, bathroom was huge, and we loved the Dove toiletries! The breakfast was over the top amazing! The lobby had a lollipop tree you could take one from. It was just as much the small touches and the huge touches that made this hotel stand out from the rest! These women that helped me check in need recognition for the way they went over and above the entire stay! We are very thankful!

Check in was fast and informative, place was very accommodating, clean, bed was super comfortable, room was quiet, close to a restaurant, which was great, all in all a wonderful experience and I will be back…..

It was very good in all aspects

Hotel was fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. I didn’t care for the pillows, and I had a cold shower in the morning, but otherwise, everything was fine.

Smelled moldy

This was hotel was everything I wanted. Room was spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable. Short drive to historic Charleston. Breakfast was more than standard continental breakfast and lots of space in the breakfast room. Every staff member I came into contact with said hello as I walked by - even housekeeping was friendly! Highly recommend this hotel to those looking for a comfortable stay.

Hotel was clean and convenient to downtown. Places to eat nearby also . We would go back.

Loved staying at this hotel, very nice staff, quiet hotel, good breakfast, would stay again if in the area and definitely recommend.

We stayed there for 2 nights in July. The A/C went out on the first night. I called the front desk and the guy told me that the hotel was "booked out" and he couldn't move us to a different room. We ended up sleeping and sweating in the July heat without the A/C with a young child. The next morning I called and asked to speak with a manager. Never got a hold of one, but we were moved to a different room. I had to walk around looking and finally spoke with Leila, who said she would look into it. As promised, she called me back briefly, twice, in about ten mins. She'd credit $89 to our account. A few days later, I found out the credits/charges were messed up. I had to call the hotel about 3-4 times to get them straightened out. It took 5 charges/credits to fix the problem. Overall, I wish the hotel to be more professional. The management (Leila) did try hard to remedy the issues. We would stay there again for that reason, and for the good location of the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and it seemed like they were always cleaning. I guess they don’t really do the daily housekeeping at hotels anymore, because this is like the third one I’ve stayed at since the pandemic in 2020 and none of them have done it. But it’s fine. All I had to do was stop at the front desk and get what we needed a couple of times and then a couple of times housekeeping did stop by and grab our trash. I actually kind of prefer it because it means we don’t have to be up and out of our room super early. The location is pretty good. About a 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston and just a little further to the different islands. Lots of food places to try close by. For the price, you really can’t beat it. I’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 4 nights and they only cleaned our room once after we repeatedly asked. We had to ask for clean towels. The one time they cleaned the room they replaced the towels and made the beds but didn't vacuum or clean the sink. The front desk staff was wonderful and the breakfast is good.

The front desk hosts were very nice & Pleasant. The rooms are comfortable & very clean. The pool was nice too

I liked the location of the facility. I liked that there was a traffic light right at the property, so getting out into traffic was very easy.

Response to issues. Front desk staff are great.

The staff was friendly and the room and property was maintained. A little more effort could have been made at detail when cleaning. There was a grim edge under my sink, a dead bug on the floor in my room when I arrived and the microwave and coffee maker had a layer of dust on them. On the positive, the tub and bed were clean and fresh, the breakfast was very good, and the building had a clean fresh scent. Kim, one of the morning breakfast team, was very kind and friendly.

Staff was great and the daily breakfast was awesome!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfy. Great amenities for coffee and the bathroom! The elevator floor was very sticky and the trash can by the elevator had a bunch of dust from the vacuum all over.

The check in staff at front deat was very kind. Breakfast was very good. The lobby was clea . Beds were very comfortable. It was the cleaning staff that was very rude. Room was clean but not the bathroom. When you asked the cleaning staff something they were rude.

Great hotel. Great location on bay 17-just a few miles outside of Charleston, and a half mile from the Mall. This trip was on our way to Myrtle beach. Beds and pillows were sooooo comfy. Wish I could buy some for home!
