We were disappointed with this experience because we were not informed that this hotel does not have an elevator and we were assigned to the second floor.

I was told there was no elevator and our toom was on the second floor. Was i alright with that? I made the reservation 10 days or so before and no one mentioned that fact, but its 10:00 at night whats a 77 year old arhriticgoing to say.

From the point we walked in to the hotel it smelt bad you could smell mold/humidity. There was mold in the vents we were there less than 1/2 hour and my son's Asthma started acting up we had to leave.

This is the second time I have stayed at the best Western. Always friendly, always courteous and very helpful. It is very peaceful and quiet and clean.

Great easy check in and the stay was good but a few issues with the room.
The heat didn’t work and the bathroom sink drained extremely slow. The room was clean and comfortable though.

Room was very dirty, we kill a roach in the bathroom. Towels looked old and yellowish. Room was old and filthy, carpet was filthy. Overall the room was horrible. We booked a two night stay and we checked out after the first night. Couldn’t stay a second night. I filed a complaint and I was told the manager would give a call on Friday the 17th after 10 am. Today is Saturday the 18th at 4:45 pm and I haven’t heard from her.
This hotel is not a 8.4 at all.

We were very pleased with out stay! Our last experience with a different hotel in Opelika was horrible so we had prepared for the worst. So grateful we were pleasantly surprised!! Very clean!

No tissues in room, bath soap container was empty. Stains on the ceiling. Carpet had a musty smell. Towels were scratchy. This hotel was an average at best not an 8.6

The room was not cleaned the refrigerator had open beer and garbage can had left over trash from the previous gueat. There was no remote to the TV or towels. The counters were sticky. Atleast there were no roaches and I was afraid to pull back the covers. I need a few hours sleep after a 26 hour shift

Overall stay was good but it took a long time to check in because the front desk girl was new and didn’t seem to know the computer system. The pool and outdoor area needs a definite facelift…and luggage carts are old and difficult to maneuver. …breakfast was good and staff helpful. However, on departure day I was told checkout was 11am and my key card locked me out at 10am while trying to load my car with my luggage. I had an appointment to go to and this held me up as the front desk girl had to reset my key card to get back into my room to retrieve the rest of my things.

The first unit they checked me into had not been cleaned. The second one had a direct view into the laundry so I was not able to have the blinds open. I wish the breakfast would have extended hours. It was 6-9. For their usual price though I cannot complain- it was more than adequate and the staff was nice.

Front desk let us check in earlier in our Friday arrival. Complimentary breakfast but we didn’t eat anything.
The Meh. Very very basic hotel that’s really a motel feel. Rooms seemed clean but I felt like I needed to wear flip flops in the room.
Sink didn’t drain well. Need updating. I don’t think I’d stay again but if I had to I could tolerate it.

We were there for business.Chose this hotel because it was close to our destination. It did not disappoint us. The staff was friendly and very helpful! The room although small was very comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast was above what we are used to. Very good ! Thank you Best Western at Opelika!

We arrived to find no working toilet. We alerted the staff, before leaving for the Auburn football game. We returned to our room, assuming the issue was resolved. We flushed the toilet and it flooded the bathroom. We were moved to another room that had broken furniture, no mirror, discarded cupcake wrappers on the bathroom floor, dirt along the shower wall. It was pretty shocking. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet, but the cleanliness and conditions were poor. We paid quite a bit, due to it being a home football weekend, so we were disappointed and surprised at the conditions.

The gym is in a separate building. The air wasn’t on in the building so I went and asked the employee at the front desk to turn it on. He said he didn’t know how to turn it on so I decided to just walk around the building. When I went to take a shower back in the room, there was no hot water. :(
The one positive was the night employee, Ricky. He was very helpful.

The room was dingy, with hair in the bathroom. The interior was worn, needing updates. The staff was very nice.

The room was wonderful and clean. The pool area was nice however it needed more water in it and needed daily maintenance. It had a great outdoor sitting area. Breakfast was good but not well attended. Staff was kind and helpful.

The front desk is very unprofessional! The condition of the room is moist and noisy. I saw a cockroach on the floor and the towels have stains on them.
