A snow storm hit the area on the morning we were supposed to check out. The staff was cool and extended our check-out time a little which really helped us. It's nice to see people being human with others when a lot of other hotels maintain a strict check out time in a mindless fashion. I was very appreciative of their professionalism and kindness.

Hotel needs major upgrades. Totally outdated in many areas

I was very comfortable front desk was lovely sheets and bed. Perfect view outstanding was promised a bathrobe, but never delivered. I would have liked some sort of luggage Assistance. I really hurt myself using the pushcart.

Lovely views

Went to visit family and they came down suddenly ill and we had to book a room as we were about 1 hour away from arriving. The hotel has spectacular views, we arrived around dinner time and the staff was very friendly. The room was great overlooking the water and everything was very clean and comfortable. The only negatives is the air system sounded like a plane taking off and lurched and rattled all night which kept waking us up and the bathrooms, well they are dated and the the grout on the floor tiles looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a really long time. Other than that we had a drink at the bar for a night cap and the bar tender was very nice. Update the dated baths it's go a long way and fix the air unit asap! We'd stay again!

This was a lovely property - we got a king with river views and it did not disappoint! The hotel was conveniently walkable to downtown Red Bank - we got so many steps in! Also, this had one of the best hotel showers we've experienced - great water pressure. And the bath towels were extra long, which, for larger people, is such a nice touch to be able wrap it around!

Really enjoyed this property. Love the Waterview.

Views are lovely but rooms badly need overhaul -as usual plumbing sketchy —- shower/bath faucet leaked continuously and toilet appeared to be on the brink of giving up. Topper this time was (someone else’s) fresh green toothpaste spot on a supposedly clean towel hanging on back of bathroom door. Very gross and makes one wonder what else is being overlooked re cleaning. Positive shoutout to Pete the bartender who is lovely.

Pros- Beautiful views from Waterview rooms, great blackout curtains, comfortable beds, 9 pillows, fabulous restaurant (pricey but great staff- sorry but 8 asparagus stalks, and fries should not be $14- nope)! Nice to have frig & safe. Slight cons- Delay at check-in (should have comped happy hour drink for delay), crummy room coffee- blah but there was great lobby coffee we were unaware of), yuck I hate shower curtains vs glass- ick, dated bathroom - could barely turn water on, shower head from the 1940’s- such an easy fix Osprey!!). Bathroom could have been cleaner (hair in shower). We had an appointment at MSK And asked for a slightly late check out of 12 or 1230. Front desk really made a big deal about this, even though the hotel was virtually empty. Somewhat perplexing but overall stay was great. Here’s one thing I think was weird, I called the hotel and asked them to match the Expedia rate. They said no cannot do it so I promptly booked on Expedia, which was less expensive. But there was a one hour lag for that reservation to show up at the front desk.

They put a lot of money and effort into the linens and towels. View and location are awesome. A couple of items in the room are in need of replacement but the upgraded linen package is a good trade off. Restaurant seemed a bit pricey, breakfast for 2 with tip 50$. Then again it's Redbank. I'd definitely stay again. All of the staff was great! Favorite bartender is Pete.

Great view - river was beautiful at sunrise

Hotel is beautiful. It was still decorated for Christmas when we checked in, with Christmas trees. When we checked out all the trees were gone. Our room was very clean and our view of the river was breath taking. Griffen at the front desk was very polite and helpful with recommending places to eat in town. My only complaint was in the morning there wasn't any "hot" water un the shower. It was a little warm. Overall, we loved our quick stay. We will definitely stay there again if we come to town.

Beds comfortable but hotel needs update to carpet and interior looks worn for a upscale hotel

The location is super, and the hotel is one of the nicest in this area. The rooms overlooking the river has a perfect view all day long. Don't settle for the bay view unless there is no other availability. Dining in the hotel is your best choice as there is nothing near, but the quality is fair while the price is good and the portions are big. The bar is open late, which is excellent. My reason for this rating was that the Mini fridge inside my room was not working properly, and all my special meals went to the garbage. The air conditioner was very noisy too. Other than those small problems, the hotel is very nice and the stuff is helpful. I hope that they take care of the room amenities and update them as this hotel has a lot of potential.

Lovely hotel. The view was amazing.

Upon arrival, we asked for a quiet room & the woman checking us in assured us that we were in a quiet area. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the parking lot and it was right above their ballroom on the 2nd level. Everyone else in our party (6 rooms total) got a water view. Not one word was mentioned that they had a party booked for the evening & the following morning. The walls & floor of our room were literally vibrating from the loud & pulsating music until 11pm. I couldn't be more thankful that we were in & out for the majority of the evening. The next morning a loud Santa Breakfast was held in the ballroom. I am very disappointed that we were not made aware of our location upon check in and I specifically asked for a quiet room. How do you tell a guest that they are in a quiet area when you place them in a room right on top of the ballroom with parties booked?? The restaurant is obviously short staffed and the service is seriously lacking. We were a party of 12 and it took over an hour for us to be served eggs with no refills for coffee or water without having to get up to ask for it. Breakfast was $50. I can't recommend either the hotel or restaurant for future stays. If you have to stay in this hotel I recommend you request a room on the 5th floor on the opposite side of the ballroom and definitely a water view. Definitely do not eat in this hotel because there are so many better choices in town. The location is walkable but not that convenient.

Great room with water view, parking was an issue due to the Thanksgiving holiday, needed more than one valet parking attendant. Would have received 5 stars had the Bar been open to residents in the evening(major faux pas)

Excellent location with stunning views.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the scent of the lobby. I don’t know if they had a lot of air fresheners in or it with the flowers. It was quite overwhelming other than that it was an excellent, Hotel.

Very nice experience and we dined at the restaurant on-site, which was really good! Comfortable beds and clean room, overall very nice place to stay!
