We go to Gastonia 2-3 times a year to visit family and had been staying at a hotel across the road that finally became untenable. This hotel was so great! Very clean, and had the sitting area and beautiful room. Wonderful pictures on the walls and the breakfast was so good. It’s near shopping and a lot of good restaurants too. This is now our hotel for our visits to Gastonia.

Stayed 2 nights. Quiet and clean, that is what I want from an hotel. Solid experience expected for this type of hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. As other mentioned breakfast is on the low end but again, similar experience with other brands. Would be nice to have some fruits or I missed where they were. Not much vegan/vegetarian options.

Everything about the start was fine except the water was barely like warm which was a big disappointment as I was there for a couple of days and couldn't take a proper hot shower. The staff was friendly and even tho it's a little older it was very clean and comfortable.

The front desk was great, but we only had house keeping one time during our stay.
We kept going to the front desk for towels and bathroom tissues or anything we needed

Stayed here 4 weeks of my travel contract for Caromont. 3 weeks alone (30, female), one week with family (including toddler and dog). The staff is lovely, the hotel always felt clean and well-kept. The breakfast was delicious! Beds comfy, shower pressure and temp good (except when you get to the far side of the building, I was in room 21 one week and it took 10 minutes for the water to warm up, I wish I was kidding. That was my only complaint though!)
I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers, including solo women. I never felt unsafe, even in/around the parking lot.
PS: The coffee in the room is better than the stuff at breakfast!

The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast because it was the same everyday and some people don't eat pork so it would be nice to have turkey bacon or turkey sausage and grits!! Other than that everything else was great the staff was excellent

The staff at the front desk was nice and the breakfast provided seemed orderly and breakfast area was clean. The hotel and especially our room was very dingy. The walls needed to be wiped down from food and liquid or whatever was on them. The furniture was banged up. There was hair in the bathroom floor and in the tub. If we weren’t literally just sleeping there quickly and leaving I would have taken the financial hit and gone to a different hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel was the friendly staff. Outside of that, everything else was terrible. We went to two different rooms and both were filthy dirty and dated. The walls and doors were peeling and exposed wiring from the air conditioning was all over the floor. Also there were people around the hotel who looked sketchy. We ended up not staying and requesting a refund.

I had no problem at all. The lady at front desk was very polite and friendly. Passed me in hall and even spoke to me very kind. I do say by far it was the cleanest I’ve been in in awhile.

My stay was very good. It's so convenient to my sisters house and the highway. The front desk staff is amazing and so friendly and professional. This is my third time staying there this year and I enjoyed the comfortable clean room and the hot breakfast daily is an added perk. Pam at the front desk is so kind, friendly and amazing. I'll be back in the next few months
