Looks like this property was recently taken over. A lot of work has gone into exterior and lobby. One whole wing shut off for renovations though. Breakfast was a loaf of bread and a toaster with juice and coffee. Whole place was full of odd odors. Desk staff was totally unmotivated. Hopefully they are working on getting it right.

Best thing is that it's being renovated. Unfortunately this won't fix the lack of cleaning. Putting stained sheets on beds, is unacceptable. Should be inspected weekly for contagions.

I was supposed to be given a deluxe room with a separate bedroom and instead received a tiny little room with only half of the light bulbs working and a fan loud enough to scare small children in the bathroom.

Upon getting into the room, we took 1 look and head for the hills! Disgusting!

Check-in took forever. We couldn't even flush the toilet when we got to our room because the water was shut off due to construction. The hallway stunk like cigarettes. The room was so small, we were bumping into each other. We didn't even take showers because the place was so gross

I am not using euphemisms nor and I speaking in hyperbole - this was by far one of the grossest, unkept, and sticky hotels Ive ever walked into. Had I not landed in Rochester at 11pm and had the option to go somewhere else - I wouldve. This place is reminicent of where people go after they get released on parol or they are paying for hotels by the month to live in.... My room had sticky substances like melted candy or chocolate under the couch cushion. The wall by the bed had what looked like dried blood. The bathroom felt like there would be cameras in it... SEEDY to say the least...

Nothing dirty sink wont drain pillows flat and hard

Attendant pleasant Mattress sagged Internet failed at approximately 9:30 pm still not working when I left at 6am Phone to call desk did not work Soda machine was inoperative Hair dryer did not work. Continental breakfast had little appeal. Will pass on Microtel from here on

Unprofessional Staff, No water. One of the top WORST stays we have had in our travels.

Very clean and comfortable

We were traveling with elderly parents that need assistance. We had booked a handicap accessible suite only to be told upon arrival that the only suites are on the second floor. The facility had no elevator to get to the second floor. The only option we had was to change to a room on the first floor of which only had single beds left for the night or go to a different hotel. There was no let me see how we can make it right. It was just too bad this is all there is. We had been on the road for 12 hrs and our parents need to get laid down so we had no choice but to put them in a first floor room alone. Both require assistance at a moments notice, so we let them sleep for a few hours while we waited in the car.

It was dirty to the point where I couldn't sleep for one night even though I had a room upgrade. I checked out one day earlier to move to another hotel

The property was nothing like in the pictures and the room had a foul odor

Uncleaned towels, No mirror in washroom, just coffee, bread butter for breakfast. Didn't meet the expectation

Our room was horrible. We booked a suit. There was a bag full of condoms on our couch, the room reeked of marijuana. No trash cans, the door frame to the 2nd door was not there, the door could not fully lock and could be pushed in from the outside. I told night clerk and nothing was done. Day clerk was very apologetic.

Did not like anything bathroom not clean cracks all over the walls bed uncomfortable cabinets falling, and nasty smell in the room

Very dated. Rhungs falling apart. Very small rooms. Doesnt look like it was cleaned very well. Cob webs everywhere and the bed sheets were on backwards......

Our stay was comfortable, just for a night, bathroom was clean, amenities was great and the towels were extra soft and nice. Breakfast not so great 😕

Bed was lumpy and could hardly sleep. Breakfast was a joke, all they had was bread, no coffee, nothing else but bread!!!

Its a middle of the road motel in terms of cleanliness and overall treatment by the workers but nothing I'd go out of my way to rent. That being said, nothing bad persay about the facility itself because for what it cost to rent the room it's exactly what I expected. Get what ya pay for people so don't complain when you want a cheap ropm and het a cheapnr9om

The room I stayed in was nothing like what was pictured on Expedia. This hotel needs major restoration from top to bottom. Flea bag hotel. Terrible!

It was a good and proper room for a one night stay, only complaint is I saw roach droppings and one crawl into the bathroom outlet. But besides that it was perfectly fine.

Didn't feel safe or clean. Uncomfortable stay and it was just for one night.

Best thing was leaving early. Horrible place false advertising DO NOT go by the pictures!!! First room the ceiling and walls were lifting and peeling off the bathroom had black scum in the bathtub. Had sewer flies and wormy things on the bench by the bed. Second room they said it was better. It had very yellow stained pillows. Sheets weren’t changed and dirty. Phone didn’t work bathroom tap was never cleaned and had gross stuff on it. The tub had a 5 inch crack that the water went down , told them they didn’t care. The amount of dirt and stains on the wall was so bad in each room. Not sure if some was poop, cause it did look like poop. The hallways to get the your room were in just as bad shape. When I asked about the pictures of the nice rooms on the site, they said it was under construction. I did do a walk around and there was no construction in any floor. Find a different hotel.

Sketchy at best. Breakfast is cold cereal and various toast. Hallway floors have stains that call up images of bodies being dragged down them. Room from the 1970s. Mattress hails from the same basic era. But, hey, you get what you pay for, right?

Facility has nothing to like

We left at midnight and drove all the way home because it was gross and I couldn't sleep. I wish I had believed the other reviews before wasting my money. I didn't get a picture of the sheet stains because that was the last straw and I just packed up.

My husband and I stayed more 10 days, 2 weekends. Weekdays manager is more friendly , in the weekends ,we suggest to put someone with better skills and English understanding. Also, for NOT SMOKING facilities, weird smells, from customers, but also from employees, special at night. Sheriff's came 3 times, night and daylight.

I’ve stayed at Microtels in different locations and didn’t not think twice about booking at this particular location. The reviews are correct. Be cautious about booking unless price is what you’re after. In my opinion, stay at locations with the options with suites.
