This should be reclassified as a motel. The hotel corridors were smelling of weed, old towels with stains (washed but old stains could be seen). I could see management was trying to improve the quality. But it requires good amount of renovations.

the front desk clerk was very rude and unprofessional she screamed at me in the lobby over hotel policy instead of using courtesy and good customer service skills also the hotel was not very clean or up to par to be rated beyond one star. I in fact cancelled my reservation and went and stayed somewhere else due to the disrespect i received as i was as customer.

Unfortunately this place was not very clean, holes in the wall, holes in the windows, garbage behind the tables, no good food either over all service wasn't good. You get what you pay for. It sucked

The room was dirty and the Ac/heat in the room was obnoxiously loud.

Had a long drive was very tired 10min wait before checking in the room tub and toilet was very dirty had to go all the way back downstairs to show the guy at the front desk he then assigned us to another room where paint or something was falling from the ceiling without accommodating us at all.

Honestly I think they are doing the best they can to keep it clean (cleaning crew and front desk). In this type of scenarios you realize is not about the employees but the corporation (CHOISE HOTELS) that don’t give a rats tale to update the infrastructure!

There was a power outage in my area of town. I chose this hotel because of the convenience and the price. The check- in process went smoothly.
My room was outdated, it wasn’t vacuumed thoroughly, and it needed to be dusted. The mini-fridge was unclean and so was the microwave. The air was cold. I had to call the front desk to complain about the problem

Where to start. The staff was not overly friendly but not awful.
The one working elevator was barely working and has seen far better days. Scratch marks made it look like it maybe has had to be pried open from time to time.
The floor we were on was thick with pot smoke, which made it hard to breathe due to allergies. The room was only marginally better.
The heater was louder than a jet airplane, but did help filter some of the smell.
The smoke detector looked like it was from the 70s and had black scorch marks coming from it. I'm pretty sure it would never actually work if there were a fire
The bathroom vanity bottom was separating from the top and the crack that had formed was thick with mold.
The room did have a small TV, and the breakfast did have waffles.

Was not at all satisfied with the cleanliness, or lack thereof at this facility. Phone didn't work. Volume on the TV was erratic. Shower curtain was disgusting. Overall, a run down hotel.. They did manage my cancelation well.

Don’t get a room by the patio. You will never get any sleep. Music blaring and loud talking until 5am many nights every day and beginning at 9/10am.

Facility is not well kept. Mold in shower, room smelled. Last updates in the hotel looked to have been done in the 1970s. Gentleman working night shift sleeping on the couch with shoes and shirt off.

This hotel needs to be completely updated. My first room had no A/C, my 2nd room had A/C but also had a dated jet tub in the corner of the room. It looked gross and I would never want to use it. I had to kill 2 spiders in the room. Buffet breakfast is a waffle maker and some cereal. I won't be returning to this hotel.

The room AC sounded like a boat motor and the place was filthy -- won't stay here again.

While most everything was fine, the property is in need of an overhaul. It was manageable,
but getting worn down. The sheets and towels were clean, bit the bedspread and blankets were dirty.

I was totally frustrated w/the hotels.com reservation process and I am formally requesting a refund of the $100.34 charged to my visa credit card re: Itinerary - Quality Inn, Southfield, Sep 9 - Sep 10 (Itinerary #72637730723008). Here's the scenario, the receptionist could not locate my reservation with the above itinerary number. She in fact required a "confirmation " #, and since ur AI chatbot failed to do anything but re-send my itinerary via e'mail. Subsequently, I hade to re-book the room at a higher rate, in order to secure a room, get my key and head downtown to my comedy show event in a timely manner.

The room should have been cleaned properly there was hair in the tub in which I cleaned and a blanket was missing from one of the bed I was able to get a blanket. The refrigerator needed the inside cleaned, our garbage should have emptied as requested, I asked for clean towels the next day in which I never received. The check in and out clerks were nice and provided good service. Overall the stay was okay, the only complaint, is that the maid service could have been more detailed. The rooms are a bit outdated and the air condition system is old needs to be replaced.
