Overbooked. Booked a King Room was told there was a system glitch that caused an overbooking. Had to settle for 2 full size beds.

First time staying at Spot X and I was so impressed. The staff and the service they provide are excellent. The room and hotel are very clean and comfortable. Definitely a ace I will chose again to stay at.

Great sleep in a comfortable bed with really great biscuits and gravy at breakfast. Had an issue with a 3rd party booking (date) and the staff at Spot-X helped to resolve it efficiently. Would recommend this hotel to travellers.

I liked it's proximity but I did like smell of carpets.

The hotel was for the most part clean but it was very dated. Looks like they tried to update it but didn’t pay attention to the details. The breakfast was not the best for a 3 star hotel. It worked for what I needed, but I don’t think I would pay to visit u til they have fully updated the hotel.

The first thing i noticed was how good it smelled. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast looked meh.

We ( me husband and adult daughter)had to come to Tampa on emergency and our flight got in sooner than we anticipated. I am aware that the hotels do not have to let us check in early, I asked because we were exhausted! My daughter had her own room and was told that there was no way she could check in early, but the same attendant told my husband and I that we could check in at 2 if we were willing to stay in an adjoining room and we agreed. That made my daughter wait and when she was finally able to check in, it was the the room that was adjoined to ours. I feel that we were discriminated against and will never stay at this facility ever again just because of how we were treated! As far as the room… it was clean, but the light and fan did not work in the bathroom. The way the staff treats customers can make or break a business.

The hotel looked nice but got checked in after booking the room under my company card from my job to be told I could not use it due to my name was not on it. After driving 10 hrs. The hallway to our room and our room smelled of mold or old cigarette smoke.

I had a good experience at this hotel. I checked in relatively late (8:30 PM) and there were no issues. The breakfast could have had more options but I’m not complaining about something that comes free. The bed was comfortable and everything was a clean standard. I am satisfied with my stay. One perk is that it is very close in proximity to restaurants and a movie theater.

Management could not be bothered to process a refund when the hotel changed ownership and I was forced to double pay until I initiated a call to Expedia and then the manager cooperated. Otherwise the staff were wonderful and the spaces clean. This was my first experience having to request at reception room cleaning. I will not stay here again.
