This is a unique hotel with a bit of a disjointed connection of buildings and some different updates in places, but overall a really nice stay and great experience. We had a suite in a portion of the hotel that had been a house, so there were nice stairs and windows that reflected an older time. We had one room with a toilet and a tub, and two bedrooms, each equipped with its own shower. The doors to the rooms were more like those used in office buildings rather than an older home, so they were a bit different from the overall decor and feeling of the suite, but otherwise in working order and clean. The staff is very nice and allowed us to add on breakfast when we paid for parking. The dining room is fun and comfortable, giving off the homelike feeling again. The location is great, near the university and some nice places for good food. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unique stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to ensure that my husband and I had a good stay. I am in a wheelchair so the old building was not ideal for easy navigation, but the staff made every effort to make our stay as comfortable and straightforward as possible. Many thanks.

Came up the day before surgery at the hospital, which is virtually next door. I went for surgery at 6.4am and hubby stayed with our dog. had breafast. Car park easy and staff lovely. Made it all a lot easier.
