Enjoyed the clean crisp room and bed. Bathroom was really great. Public areas were also nice. The all you can eat offerings were generous, varied and tasty.. I even won a little bit of cash !

Staff was not readily friendly or helpful. Beer was $12 a bottle.

Will never be back. Crappy casino and hotel. Go somewhere else in that town.

Having the small refrigerators sitting on the floor made it extremely difficult to put things in and take out.

I visited Gold Strike back in 2015. It was a guys trip. Had a fabulous time and it felt like the hotel and atmosphere was great. So great that I said that I would come back a second time and enjoy it with my wife. Well, finally made it back. I'm not sure if the hotel has changed since I was last there or if I just didn't realize it last time around. But the hotel was extremely smoky. Even though they have signs advising people that there is not smoking in the lobby, people were still doing it without anyone enforcing the rule. One particular night, there was vomit on the floor of one of the elevators that stayed there for hours. We ordered pizza from one of the dining places (I think Sweet Tea) and it was absolutely terrible. The cheese and dough was horrendous. My wife and I ate one slice a piece and threw the rest away. There was a stench in our room. I later learned that the carpet was wet by the fridge as it was leaking water. I learned this near the end of our stay so no sense in complaining. All in all, the hotel wasn't the best. But because we came to watch a show that was being held at the Horseshoe that we enjoyed, as well as enjoying the casino entertainment, the trip was worth it. So I can understand it if others go and would not recommend against it. But I won't be going back... ever!

My wife had a health problem while in the resort and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and concerned for her welfare. We were very impressed.

Why did I have to pay Expedia $106 and Goldstrike $73 for a room advertised for $55? I would have planned something different for $179. Could you give me a refund.

We stayed in room 2747 One of the pillow cases had something all over it looked like it wasn’t washed. The tile floor in the room was really sticky the carpet also felt dirty and sticky like it needs steamed cleaned or something. We wore our sandals the entire time in the room. The towels looked really dingy or dirty had something on 2 of them. Food service was excellent ordered a pizza it was delicious. We have stayed here several times and this was the only time we’ve had this happen where nothing looked clean. Also had to turn the air on 65 and leave it running the entire time auto would not kick on until it was hot in the room.

The rooms are quiet, clean,and cozy…we really enjoyed our stay.

Clean nice rooms

We didnt like the fact that the "Sweet Tea" (I believe that was the name of it) was suppose to open at 6:00, but they didnt get set up until way after. We left without ordering.

Service was amazing! All the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and pretty modern. Elevators made a few noises that freaked me out but overall a great place to stay!

Staff didn’t want to deal with you. One of the most inhospitable places I’ve been too.

I booked a room for Jan. 14th and due to the weather had to leave on the morning of the 14th to Nashville. So glad I did! Mucho snow!!!! However after much searching for a way to cancel the room I learned that I couldn't cancel the room that late (had to be before 12:01 AM) and then I would be charged fees up to the price of the room. I just wish that there could have been some way to be forgiven the room cost (or at least some of it), however I was not able to do that. Had to eat the cost.

This place was very nice, comfortable, quiet although we didn’t go up to our rooms until 4:30-5am. Long night.. room was great. Beds are comfy and was really quiet for being in a casino

Clean and friendly. Handicap parking was conveniently located. Elevators were close to entrance and casino floor.

I left 4:30am in the morning and felt very comfortable knowing there were 2 security vehicles with their lights on.

Hotel was nice. Food and drinks were through the roof high.

Rooms felt like a roadside motel—dirty and everything in the hotel smelled like cigarette smoke. If you aren’t a smoker, don’t stay here. The worst part about this hotel was the towels. Every single towel in both rooms had poop streak stains on them. I am not kidding—it was awful.

Very clean, awesome staff, and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Plenty of free parking. Nice casino in the hotel.Will definitely stay here again.

They dont allow people to get in pool/hot tub that dont spend a lot of money gambling. We will find a room in Memphis/Hollywood next time.

Room was not clean...The bathroom, furniture and something was all over the entry door on the inside. We were surprised that the majority of staff we encountered were not friendly or welcoming, especially those who were working for tips. We do not intend to return.

I have always enjoyed coming to stay here but I feel like it might be getting worse now that MGM sold it to another company. The AC in my room was barely functional and found long hairs still lingering on the bathroom floor. The elevators seem dirty and they make awful noises like it’s unsafe. Ordered breakfast at the cafe there and it took forever. Seems like the employees are lazy. Maybe I’ll stay elsewhere next time. Horseshoe next door isn’t bad

Had to wait for them to locate my reservation and they had to move us 3 times at 11:00pm because of no heat in rooms! They did finally comp the room though after a pretty good conversation!

I and my wife went to Gold strike to celebrate our weeding anniversary, and to just get away. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating!

We had a quick overnight stay just to get away..nice resort. Rooms were clean. Carpet was dingy could use cleaning or replacement. Overall nice property.
