I ended Ip driving back 2 hours based on Front desk experience and misrepresentation of property. Staff said they did not have a manager or anyone who could answer a question about something I saw on their website. They also frowned upon booking through a 3rd party although when I called the property to book there was no one available to book a room on the recording. Will not be staying in Best Westerns ever again based on them having zero control on properties bearing their name for safety for women. I take feeling safe on a trip seriously and when no one can answer a simple question and says they have no one in charge I am not staying🙃 You shouldn’t either. They bashed the very service that promoted their property. This is Best Western travellers Rest/Greenville

Come to visit North Greenville Unkversity with my daughter. Easy drive to the University. Hotel was clean and service staff was awesome and helpful. 10% discount for people visiting NGU.

Front desk was very nice. But sadly the room did not share in that "niceness". The walls were chipped and in rough shape. The furniture was also in bad shape with scuffs and scratches. My son refused to take a shower because it was really dirty. Whether it was stained or actually dirty, i am not sure. And there was not enough room in the bathroom to change. The toilet and shower were behind a door with the sink outside in the main room.

The hotel was clean and well managed. The beds were a little too soft for us but clean. Breakfast was good but a bit too repetitious. A good location and easy access.

The staff were all incredibly friendly, the facilities and room were spotless. The bed was comfortable. The only ‘issue’ was not great water pressure.
We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

I have to give a big shout out to the gentleman NAIN he was so kind and beyond nice. I can say he is an amazing asset to best Western. I cannot tell you just how kind sweet courteous this man was even as he was explaining I would have an extra charge because I had two small dogs. He was so kind so apologetic that it didn’t bother me at all to pay the small fee to have both of my dogs, the rooms were very very clean. The bed was comfortable TV reception. Great even has comp elementary drinks with your stay and a pretty good breakfast all in all I give this place a 10 and I don’t give that often. I will definitely be staying there again, and hope to see NAIN again on my next day

It was a good one night hotel for getting there late and then getting up the next morning to go hiking/chasing waterfalls. You can tell it is an older building and probably needs remodeling (or at least new bathrooms- a lot of stains in the shower). But again, for the price and what we needed it for it was good.

I’ve stayed here before. It’s a nice, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They even had a “happy hour” this time where you could go to the desk and get 2 beers or glasses of wine.

Needed a tub for wife but BW would not change the room since it had been booked through Expedia. Charged city taxes which apparently Expedia does not pay. Also, required $100 to be charged to credit card and will take up to 7 days to get the $100 back. Shower too small, no safety handle in shower or a place to put your shampoo and other shower items. Commodes small, low and difficult for senior citizens. Could not see the breakfast buffet due to the sun coming into the windows - need curtains over the small high windows. Was not a good experience and is certainly not senior citizens friendly.

Very comfortable for our overnight stay. They have a very nice workout room & breakfast area. As well as a happy hour time in the lobby - which we thought was a nice touch. We were traveling in a Class C RV and found it easy to park on site & the woman at the front desk was exceptionally nice at check in. We also travel with my husbands service Animal and they were accommodating to that!
Overall a wonderful stay.

Not the worst, not the best Best Western I've ever stayed in. This Hotel is not my first choice for the city of Travelers Rest but the Other Hotel was $160 more then this one for a one night stay. Upkeep seems iffy. Lots of wear and tear that should have been fixed in the room.

Very nice and perfect for my trip. I had to change rooms on the first floor due to barking dog in the next room. It was changed to different room on the second floor without any issues. Clean and had a good breakfast.

I was very leary after reading the reviews. This place was great. I am not sure why the old / bad reviews. We went and looked at it before completing booking and I ended up staying here an extra night. The manager and other person at the desk were great. They gave suggestions of places to go even before we ask. Could not have ask for better.

Our stay here was great!! The front desk gentleman was absolutely wonderful!! My husband and I were just passing through and asked him about food in the area and he went above and beyond looking ip addresses and things for good food recommendations. He was super nice and very helpful!!

Stayed here for an overnight stop travelling south. Room was ok but awkward having no sink in the bathroom, it was in main room. Also coffee machine above sink which was a stupid place ! Air con was very noisy. I don't get the corridor music either! Had to phone reception as it was still on late evening, and could hear in our room, she forgot to turn it off.
If u fancy a 20 min walk I recommend the Swamp Rabbit bar, lovely beer!

The rooms were obviously put aside for online bookings. Mold in bathroom, toliet paper holder hanging out of the wall, air conditioner barely working.

Friendly and efficient staff, great breakfast, clean and well maintained property. We spent four nights while visiting relatives in Greenville. It was nice to have a quiet place to rest at the end of each day. Everyone was nice and went out of their way to see that we enjoyed our stay

Rate was good but hotel was old, smelled musty and bathroom wasn’t nice at all. Moldy caulk around small shower. Air conditioning didn't work well so we had a hard time sleeping. Mattress was too firm. Desk staff very nice but in hindsight we wished we paid more and stayed somewhere else.

Front desk was welcoming always acknowledged you when entering or leaving. The best breakfast hot options changed daily very very clean. They do a great job!!! I will stay again:)
