Quality Inn Alexander City was a clean and friendly place to stay.

Bed was comfortable. Room and common areas were clean. Conveniently located. Nice place to stay! If you’re looking for fancy, this place is probably not for you…if you’re looking for a nice place to stay at a reasonable price, this is a good place!

I typically do not leave negative reviews however I do think individuals should know what they are getting when staying at this location. The room was dated and unkept. There were stains on the cover bedding, stains on the mattress from possibly food or a beverage? The fridge smelled of bleach or chlorine, an overwhelming smell not one of being recently cleaned. It was disappointing, fine to sleep and leave if you have no other option which we did not. I read great reviews, sadly we did not have the same experience.

The best part of our stay was the front desk person, Carol. The room was clean, beds were good. Breakfast was excellent for a hotel, with scrambled eggs, bacon and delicious hot biscuits. Maybe i had two, lol. Breakfast room staff was friendly and quick to restock items. Carol was extra amazing because when we turned on our tv to watch the world series game, the tv wouldnt connect to channels. She came to our room, tried a few things, and when nothing worked, she went and CARRIED A TV to our room, and helped us hook it up. She went above and beyond!!! Good hotel for the money, we would stay here again and recommend it.

Clean and the staff was friendly. Great breakfast in the morning. Only negative is they didn't have a snack vending machine just a soda machine. Would absolutely stay there again

The room was not cleaned

We drove 5 hrs to for a wedding and this Quality Inn was the only hotel with vacancies, so we decided to book. Upon check-in we went to our room and immediately noticed it smelled like a musty basement. After my wife and I discussed our options we decided to see if we could be moved to another room. I asked the front desk worker if there were other rooms available and that our room smelled terrible. She didn’t look surprised at all, and offered me a spray I could use for the odor, but they were all booked and didn't have any other rooms available. After more deliberation, and the fact that my wife’s throat was beginning to be bothered from the smell (smelled like mold) we decided to check out and ask for a refund (which we were given). Ultimately, we decided to drive the five hours back home as there was no other vacancies available nearby and did not attend the wedding for the weekend. I DO NOT recommend this property at all.

Very convenient for my events, I sponsor local events that require lodging for my entertainers. Very satisfactory in that regard. Good clean courteous service.

Staff were lovely, hotel was cheap. The floors were damp, boarding on wet and the fridge didnt work, but the hotel served it's purpose with a spot to sleep while visiting family.

My wife actually left a garment behind. When she realized it, she called the hotel staff. They had found it and were sending it back free of charge. Staff was very nice, breakfast bar was good overall. Hotel is showing it's age and biggest drawback is NO ELEVATORS". Have to go up stairs to second floor. We would stay again if we could get a bottom floor room.

Check in was easy room was clean breakfast was good I had no complaints.

The experience was great

It was very difficult to lock the door (FROM THE OUTSIDE) on Room 109. The bed was not made and the trash cans were not emptied yesterday. The FREE BREAKFAST was horrible.

Decent place to stay for fishing tournament.

There was roaches crawling the nightstand table and walls around it. The cleaning staff hasn't been changing the mattress covers and had urine stains on them. The duvet cover has visible stains and could use bleach.

First of all, nothing on the site indicating no elevator. When booking, that is something that needs to be addressed. Unless you read all the material in your room, you are unaware they don’t clean but every third day unless you request. Called front desk and requested clean towels, none were delivered, but they were able to deliver the bill and slide under the door. Yes, I did express all this to the check out clerk, but she was not interested. Would I stay again, no.

Nice clean hotel. Nice breakfast. One problem: part of bed frame was sticking out and sharp. I hit it with my ankle and it hurt for 2 days.

Sink and toilet clogged. No elevator. Friendly staff.

Got a Non-Smoking Room and room smelled like Smoke. Noticed the smoke alarm battery had been removed in the room. Dust was throughout the room.
