I stayed at Cities of Gold for 2 days having business in Los Alamos. My room was comfortable. The bathroom recently updated. No tub, but a sparkling clean shower with Bath & Body Works shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and a hair dryer if you need it. Complimentary water in the room with a fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board. No breakfast, but coffee and juice is ready in the morning. There is a cafe that opens on the weekends. Not much in the way of DoorDash, but food a short drive at nearby restaurants. A quick walk to the Casino before 8pm will score you a great meal at Fusion Taco. It was a quiet stay. My only suggestion would be a tv guide. I had no clue what was on tv. Didn't stay long enough to check out any other possible amenities. It was a good value!

The hotel room was ok but the bathroom was very old grout in shower tile discolored
Bathtub was badly chipped, rust showing.
The room needs overhaul.

The lady at the front desk was rude and that’s the second time we dealt with her bad attitude, we like staying here because it is a good price and convenient located around the area.

Quiet stay. Very clean. Only downfall window shades are paper, not cut to the right width, no room darkening curtains as stated. Light shines into the room so made for an uncomfortable stay.

I stay at this hotel whenever I’m in the area for work, it’s reasonable for the price , it doesn’t have a breakfast buffet , beds are extremely comfortable, limited channels on the tv, overall decent hitel

Experience was good. However, had to inform front desk of desk and bedside tables needing to be wiped. There was something sticky on the surface.

For the price, this is worth every penny! We were meeting family in Los Alamos, and those hotels are twice the price! There is a microwave and fridge but no coffee pot in the room. However, coffee is available in the lobby. Only one drawback is that our credit card was compromised sometime during our stay and we had to cancel our card!
The clientele isn’t like you’d see at the Ritz but they were friendly!

One of the rooms did not have windows, and the other had a cat in it. The environment felt unsaved, so one of the guests left in the middle of the night and booked into another hotel.

I really liked the location. In our restroom, the exhaust fan was not working. Also 2 of the 4 lamps were not working. O e of the wall receptacles was so loose that my phone charger would not stay in. It would fall out.

$45 non refundable deposit for the pet. Feces stains on the floor in more than one spot. Toilet wouldn't quit running. Sink faucets didn't work properly. Vending machines didn't work at all. Ate at the restaurant and got sick. On the plus side the pets quite enjoyed the walking area in the back of the hotel. Would not recommend it. I asked the staff at the desk to have the manager call me so I would not present this post this way. Did not get a call so here you are.

I lived there for a day with my family and it was quite safe and well maintained rooms . It was convenient on the high way and 10 minutes from the Gurudwara at Espaneola.
There was no Breakfast included and that is how we were aware about it at the time of booking. Would stay again if there was an opportunity to be back there.

Love hotel and staff. Very reasonable. Not a fan of the on site casino but they are affiliated with Buffalo Thunder that is just down the road a couple of miles which is far better.

The front office attendant was not friendly. The room had a terrible odor when the heat was turned on. In the morning there was no hot water to take a shower. Was very disappointed.

I would never pick this hotel again. It is advertised as a hotel and casino, but the casino is across a large parking lot and was a little uncomfortable walking alone. No breakfast, price was higher than it should have been for this place. The front desk guy was super nice, that's really the only good thing about it.

I always like staying at this hotel!! The rooms are big, beds are comfortable, always very clean! The staff are more than accommodating. We were able to check in early yesterday! What's nice is they have a shuttle to go to the concerts!!
