Amazing

Personally I think it’s a rip off to charge $ 20 per night for parking ! This is a Highway 395 hotel/ motel with self parking for 100 plus ! They quote you a $ 159 rate , $ 20 parking , $ 21.60 occupancy tax , tourism tax $ .35 , BTDI $ $ 3.60 ! Just inform your guest’s of what is the true charges and let them make the decision ! 4 night stay $ 822.00

Spent the night traveling south from Reno to LA. Comfortable if a little well used. The pool was a hit with our kids (the main reason we picked the hotel). Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fairly quiet and, thankfully, dark.

Most expensive hotel in town and not worth the extra cost. Best part is breakfast. Saw five dogs during my checkin - some off leash. Room was relatively clean but dated. Window heater was loud. Wall thermostat did not work. Only on elevator at the far end of hotel. It’s a trex.

Great hotel. Would stay again. Clean. Friendly staff. Accomodating because I wanted a top floor and they gave me a first floor initially and moved me without hassle.

I was a bit shocked at how strong the smell of the hotel was. I guess having a pool is nice but the stench of clorine plus who knows what made walking in the hallways difficult

Terrible internet — only one staff member on site who was in charge of breakfast and front desk and never had time to answer phone — charged a “resort fee” for having on “business” computer and a printer — not enough parking — paid $400 for room with a old soft bed and stained and old couch — big stain on ceiling.

Bishop is a cute town. This hotel is just okay in my opinion. Pros.....nice staff, it's clean, safe location. Cons...super strange room set up. The bathroom sink and vanity are actually in the main room area instead of with the shower and toilet. That meant that when my husband was trying to sleep, he got woken up because of the lights that I had to turn on to get ready. Then he really couldn't sleep because I had to blow dry my hair out in the main room. Pretty ridiculous. The blow dryer was a piece of junk, in fact it was the one that must have been anchored to the wall previously because that mounting unit was still attached. Super hillbilly. Breakfast was fine but they were out of coffee, out of eggs, out of yogurt, out of ketchup, out of hash browns. All at once, so they could have done a bit better to get ahead of the crowd so we all didn't have to stand around for so long. Will we stay there again? Not sure. I guess it would depend if all the rooms are set up with the funky-ness that ours was.

Holiday Inn was awesome. Everything was nice and clean. We got greeted by Susan the hostas in the evenings. She was amazing help with what to do in town dining, and things to do and just an all-around pleasure to be around thanks

We had a second floor room overlooking the park so super quiet. Right across from Schwartz’s Bakery so another win. Free breakfast=win Great indoor pool =win!

The elevator location was poor. Our room was located near the front of the hotel while the elevator was at the back. Long hike with luggage for a handicapped guy

I was surprised with how much I disliked this hotel. Checking in I noticed a strong mold/mildew smell. Floors were dirty. I booked a king and asked if they had availability to swap to two queens. When I got to my room it was one queen. The breakfast was gross and had the whole hotel smelling like burned popcorn. As I made my kids’ plates an angry employee was slowly closing the door and scowling at guests. I thought this would be nice for the price and chain. Very disappointing.

The pictures did not look like the actual room. It was very small for the price. Also, the room was dirty when we arrived and truly surprised this is rated at 4.1 stars!?

We needed a safe clean place for a one night stay in between destinations. This worked our perfectly and Bishop was charming.

Fridge did not work, water leaking into hallway. No desk lamp. Ice chest solved problem and lamp was provided

We selected HIExpess because past stays at others were good. This hotel was literally twice the price of all other hotels in Bishop but unfortunately did not live up to standards. It needs a major renovation. the hallways are very tiered, our room was very disappointing. the carpet was frayed, the bathroom tile grout needs cleaning, the shower curtain was hung too high, the toilet did not flush well. Just to name a few!!
