good staff friendly good rooms

I really enjoy this hotel, and i will use this hotel in the future when i come home to visit again in the future!!!!

Up on checking in to The Sure Stay in Alexandria, we were given an unclean room. The comforter has many visible large spots. I took a picture and went back to the front desk. The desk clerk worked hard to locate a clean room. Once in the new room, there was a remote controller box and no remote. I went back to the front desk and a search for a remote ensued. She located on and we returned to the room. It worked. She asked me what restitution I wanted. My reply was a clean room and a discount for the inconvenience. We got a clean room. You can refund my charge because your knowledge of this place needs updating. Best Western will be notified.

Room was good. Bed was clean but bathroom was not. Toilet had black ring and tub looked like water had been left standing in it.

We paid almost $200 for one night in this horrid hotel. The handheld shower head was broken. The doors were broken and difficult to open and close, we had to slam them to get them to close. The continental breakfast was gross except for the waffles, they were good. When we were leaving the cleaning lady was walking down the hall yelling and complaining about something. The walls are super thin and the boys next to us kept us awake all night by yelling and running around. The beds were hard as rocks. Needless to say it was definitely not worth what we paid and this place should be condemned.

We felt safe on the property; however, our neighbors were so loud and inconsiderate and it was after 1:00 am. I expected management to better control their guests. The room spelled musty and the shower head was broken and the shower curtain was nasty on the bottom.

I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THIS HOTEL IF I HAD KNOWN THERE WAS NO ELEVATOR.

Please fix the bathroom door handle and lock in 106, the door doesn't even close all the way!

2nd time to stay there it was good.

Very disappointed in this hotel for our stay. It had a really bad smell when we walked in. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator to take all our stuff to our room. The room was filthy and had a bad smell. The air had not been turned on and the humidity was very high. The carpet was so nasty our feet stuck to it and turned them black. Will never stay here again

The bath tub and sink were extremely nasty. Had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean before showering

The top lock was broken off of door, there was no do not disturb sign in room, no clock / alarm in room, the channels on room guide there no where near the real channels on tv, the toilet was burn inside and i had to go get plunger 3 times to unstop it each day, when i told front desk they handed me a plunger, the breakfast was only cereal, a apple, toast, oatmeal package, cold mini cinnamon roll and cold very mini tiny bagel with a cold tiny sausage inside, no eggs, no biscuits, no gravy, no waffles or pancakes, no bacon, no oranges like other hotels, good thing it was next to Cracker Barrel. Very thin walls i heard the neighbors entire conversation every night. The worse thing about it, there was no elevator, had to walk up and down the stairs with my rheumatoid arthritis because i booked 2nd floor online and had no idea there was no elevator, the stairs was very stained, my daughters comforter had big spot on top of it, microwave was not clean.

We wouldn't recommend for family with kids...its not clean and smells really bad ,people are shouting in corridors in midnight

comfy bed in room, very good sleeping mattress. that was what I liked. I didn't like that for a non smoking facility the hallway outside our room reeked of Marijuana smoke. The night clerk seemed nice enough. Day clerk was very nice. room was clean and everything seemed to work.

lighting in the parking lot was too dark

Electrical outlets need to be checked in room 103. Only a few worked. Power cords would fall out. TV didn't come on. The rest of the stay was great.

Everything was great

Bedding was not great. We only used the sheets. The furniture had mold growing on it. Floors were filthy. Needs better cleaning service. Staff was great, no issues here.
