What fun! My friend & I were treated to the nostalgic Sleepy Bear Den room, with vintage Sleepy Bear images decorating the walls, curtains, lamp shades & bed coverings. It was so cool! We were tired enough the road noise didn't bother us. Shower was hot, bed comfortable, breakfast bites sufficient.

The price should have tipped me off, I suppose.
The queen bed in the ad was a really a double bed.
The toilet was difficult to flush, took more than one flush.
The pillows were nice but the mattress was less so.
The woman at the office was great.
The floors and shower clean.
The bedding was thin.

We decided to leave and drive on through .
It was not what I expected.

We traveled for family affairs and stayed at a couple motels along the way and this was by far the most comfortable and the nicest staff and the cleanest room!

We pulled up to the motel, parking right outside the lobby entrance at roughly 10:30 pm after booking our stay online.
Right in front of us was a guy wearing a full-face mask handing drugs to a clearly drugged-up woman in exchange for her money. After a few mins she staggered off to her room and he rode away on his mini bike to across the street at the bus stop, where he passed out on the bench. Another man on the corner was passed out on the street in a recognizable opiate slump.
My husband and I stayed locked in our car until they left, then got out and debated if we should even go see the room we had paid for. We already knew we didn't feel safe sleeping there in this sketchy drug motel. Pregnant and exhausted from a 14-hour day of driving, I started to cry because I felt so unsafe.
We walked in + talked to the manager about refunding our money so we could find another hotel in town. She said, "Sorry, it's not up to me, you have to call Hotels.com because you booked through them" as she pretended she would authorize the refund.
We called + spoke to a nice representative who was ultimately useless. She put me on hold while she called the motel to ask for a refund. The motel manager said No, and both this grimy motel + Hotels.com passed the buck back and forth on who was to blame and who could ultimately approve a refund for our UNUSED room. We never even got past the lobby.
I would never use Hotels.com again, knowing they don't help correct situations for customers.

Stay 2/yr. Older facility but well maintained and comfortable. Convenient location & pet friendly. We will be back.

Room was clean and comfortable. Had a small fridge and microwave which I needed. Bathroom was adequate but on the smaller side. I enjoyed my stay and have stayed at this hotel before. Breakfast was very basic (cold cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, juice dispenser)

The room was perfect for a short business trip. Spacious and comfortable. I would stay here again for a business trip.

Staff was very nice, accommodations were just ok. Fridge was cold TV worked but some counters had dust on it, was clean but looked like cleaned days ago. Pillows were flat and hard except one was descent.

The room was clean and everything was in it's place to perfection. Internet was good, parking, not so much. There were 2 negatives that should be stated.
1- the first thing you notice when you enter the lobby are the "Do Not or we charge you" signs plastered everywhere and 2- whoever installed the sink and shelf in the bathroom over the toilet so you have to search for the flush handle and then hold it down to clear the bowl, also made it too wide so the toilet lids do not stay a up. Two people should have been fired for that project, first the guy who designed it and second the guy who accepted it.

I travel frequently to Pendleton. Pictures showed the rooms to be renovated - most have been a show room because the room wasn’t that nice. The heater barely functioned making the room freezing and unable to shower the next morning. Left early in the morning because we could not be comfortable in the cold. While bedding/towels were clean, they were thin/scratchy from over bleaching. Breakfast is available, but it’s mostly stale toast/small bagels with only jam available (no other toppings). TV was barely functional and remote didn’t work. Would not stay here again especially during cold weather as there are other affordable places in town.

My daughter and I stayed one night. Although the room was reasonably clean, the carpet could stand shampooing. The bed was very uncomfortable: it felt almost as though we were sleeping on the box spring. Also, the single blanket provided was insufficient to keep us warm, and we had to have the noisy heater on through the night. For the price we paid, it was too costly for so little comfort. The continental breakfast was disappointing, consisting mainly of stale bagels and dry cereals as choices. We won't use the hotel again.

This hotel is pretty run down. The rooms are ok. They tried to update but the old is still there. They told us we could park our bikes upfront. Then they called us 10 minutes later and told us to move our bikes. At 8am in the morning the police go to City Hall which is right across the street and honked and turned sirens on to wake up the homeless that were sleeping there. Liked being able to walk to the local restaurants. It was decent fpr the price for one night. Wouldn't stay on 1st floor with all the homeless and drunks wandering around

Our prepaid Expedia reservation was not honored by the management, and they were totally indifferent and unhelpful in trying to resolve the problem on their end.

We liked it enough to book three nights next week for the first leg of a long road trip! Tucked on a street near Pendleton's downtown area, it felt safe. The owner was strolling around the property when we arrived. That displayed great commitment to their establishment, in my opinion!

We stayed as a spot to sleep before heading to our final destination. We checked in and went to bed. I was disappointed with the continental breakfast since there was no cream cheese for the bagels and I couldn’t seem to raise someone while we were eating. They also ran out of milk and we were there about 7:30 AM

The room was comfortable and quiet. I booked an accessible room. It had some nice accessible features and some that didn't help. The side handles were attached to the toilet seat and were more of a hindrance than help. They make cleanup next to impossible. The sides on the tub were higher than a normal tub which made it difficult to climb in and out of. A non-slip mat was not provided. There was only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and no backup in the room. There was a shower seat provided and good grab bars all around the tub and toilet. My biggest disappointment was that I fell trying to get out of the tub. I hit both knees and had a lot of bruising. I also hit my head and had a rather large lump form immediately. When I told the person at the registration desk, they showed no compassion or interest in my injuries, took no report, and told me he couldn't see anything wrong.

It was a clean room but I was surprised that they didn't make my room up..didn't make the bed even. Checking in was fine but was surprised how little parking there was..got the last spot Saturday night..nothing in the back where my room was. And the security latch in the room was broken like someone had forced thier way in..kinda creepy being by myself! Used a chair to secure the door..didn't do the free breakfast didn't look to inviting!

While it is close to main street and Umatilla river walking path, It could use a deep cleaning.
My daughter and I spent one night. She found bobbie pins on floor by beds. Having worked in hotel industry she saw a red flag, but it was late. Couple days later we broke out in a rash. Today she went to urgent care with hand swollen. She has scabies. I am waiting to be seen for same rash all over my body. Not fun. They denied anything wrong to expedia.

I've stayed here twice on my way through town and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It appears that the carpet and furniture were updated within the last few years. Can't speak to breakfast because I always sleep in and skip that. As a solo traveler I felt safe.

I don't understand how this place has a 7+ score! The picture of the exterior is a lie. The place is filthy! It is in a very sketchy neighborhood. We drove around and were shocked that this is a Wyndham hotel. It is surrounded by houses in need of repair. The people outside the hotel appear to be long termers. When I told the desk person we didn't feel safe in the area, the response was "No refunds." We didn't care, we left and plan to let hotel.com plus Wyndham know that this place is not as it appears. I wish we had thought to take photos. It is probably good as a weekly, monthly stay place for locals needing a bed, but not one night travelers.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I booked a room for 3 days, then added an additional day. Additionally, I booked another room through the hotel directly. All that to say that I spent quite a bit of money here. First, in all of this time, not once was my room serviced it was I asked if I needed towels or my room cleaned at all. Second, the staff were so rude and unwelcoming. On the third night I went downstairs to ask for an extra blanket because my husband sleeps with the room very cold. The man at the front desk was slightly rude, but it was late so I just kind of brushed it off. Then our final night, in went and asked for an additional blanket for my daughter. The man then tells me the he “already gave me one last night” and very rudely asks “how many people do you actually have with you” I respond and when I do, he rolls his eyes before getting me an extra blanket. After I tell my husband what happened, he tells me that another staff member was extremely rude to him during check in. Don’t stay here unless you don’t mind dealing with staff with terrible customer service and dirty rooms.

I reserve a lot of rooms in my business and I reserved a room at Travelodge in Pendleton because it fit all of the filters my employee needs. Well nothing that they said it offered was true. Breakfast, not even. Clean, No way. The front office employee, what employee. Smell, well we won't go there. I will not reserve another room at this location again.

It is an older property that is kept very clean and comfortable. We arrived at the end of a long drive and it was perfect for our needs and met or even exceeded my expectations.
