There was loud banging on the doors in the hallway and shouting pretty much all night long.

The ladies who checked me in were very hospitable and the room was clean. My biggest complaint was the heater. It was one of those type of units that had the air conditioner and heater built into one. The heater did not work worth a darn. Just made a whole lot of noise.

The parking is a bit confusing but they were super accommodating even trying to give me a comfortable room on the main floor as i was staying after a procedure they let us check in early so we didn’t have to check in after my procedure amazing place

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The pool area was much nicer than I expected! I believe the pool was heated, or I was just so excited to swim in February that I didn’t care- either way loved the pool. Rooms were spacious and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here

It was clean and comfortable. They are renovating the place but still very good!

Uneven steps to enter property. No elevator. Appears non compliant with handicap standards. No microwave or refrigerator in room. Very uncomfortable seating in room.

Updates to room’s decor are nice

The property was extremely dated, however, was under construction. The construction area wasn’t segmented from available rooms i.e.; construction materials lying in the hallway, open doors approximately 10, not shielded off from the tenants. The fitness room and hot tub were also under construction. None of which was advertised upon booking the room. The steps leading into the building had settled and had a dangerous down slope to them, as well as the parking lot being on a hill. When I asked the Hostess about a possible discount, as the construction was not advertised, she said they had already discounted property. A search of surrounding hotels revealed approximately 10 at a price lower than I paid at this hotel. With the condition of the hotel and the laissez-faire attitude of staff and general uncleanliness, I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Our room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Some things are a bit outdated but they are remodeling. The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was good. They have three waffle makers and other breakfast items. We could hear noise from the room above us. For the price, I'd definitely stay here again, but I'd request a top floor room.

Room was clean, but 1st floor hall way smells moldy. Side Entrance door was unlocked

Travis at the front desk was amazing! The hot tub and sauna or down, however and that was just a little disappointing

Nice spot for a great price. Many amenities closed this winter for maintenance (hot tub, sauna, fitness room..) but overall good experience

It's good value, comfortable and close to the ski area. The free breakfast is a great touch. I did not try the pool or sauna so I cannot comment on those, but they could offer some wonderful after-ski relaxation. You must able to haul your luggage up and down stairs.

This is one of my favorite places to stay when going down to the Duluth area. Comfy and out of the way!! The staff is wonderful!!

Been here in the past, it has always been a decent place to stay at, especially if you are just there to sleep. They are currently undergoing some renovations, but it wasnt a bother for us. Wish there would have been a fridge/microwave in the room but wasnt a deal breaker for us. But overall, our stay was nice. staff was friendly and didnt have any issues.

Limited parking due to poor snow removal. Wet hallway carpet. Room is freezing with only a window A/C that is extremely loud. Bathroom ceiling is about to cave in. Needs to be renovated.

Door to room was in need of rehanging as there was a wide gap at the top that allowed noise from hall into the room. Understand the door will be fixed when they complete the current room remodeling. Unfortunately the sauna and hot tub were out of order, for that was something we look forward to after skiing. Soak in the bath tub had to suffice.

There was nothing saying there was no hot tub the lady in the morning was rude

There plumbing was backed up and both my fience got severely sick ,we didn't get moved out of the room instead they kept us there to the point of we ended up checking out and never got refunded our money the card company told us there's no money put back in the account . So we called the hotel the lady in the afternoon we spoke to was very rude and hung up on us . I would stay some where else were you won't get sick from the plumbing backup and you won't have to deal with the extremely rude staff. There's much better places around this hotel to stay at . The sewage smell is always in the hallway and they don't care for the customers who stay there. I'd stay away from this place at all costs this place makes motel six look like the Hilton .

Very cozy, furniture is cabin themed too. Made to feel like a cabin and very comfortable

Lady bugs in the hotel room, hot tub and sauna don’t work. Paint is peeling off of the tub and shower. Very out of date decor. Also smells gross on lower level, might be mold.

This was a great location and value while we were in town visiting a family member in the hospital. We will definitely stay there again and hope the hot tub is working.

We had 3 rooms. All were fairly recently remodeled. One room had a fridge & microwave. The staff was very friendly. I swimming pool was fun, but the room was way too cold.

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was a very nice perk. Pool was pleasant, and the kids using it were well-behaved. Hot tub, sauna and fitness room were unavailable (under construction) which we didn't know in advance, and which is the reason for the poor rating for the facilities. This situation will likely change once the construction is done, though.

Very basic hotel. Fine for a quick stay. Staff very nice and let us check in early. The bedding could use a major upgrade.
