OK, plenty of parking but not much within walking distance, hotel a bit tired and dated and couldn’t supply a few toiletries despite their notice saying they were available. No nearby eating options, breakfast good.

My two criticisms involve the juice in the morning and the pillows. 1) The apple juice was watered down so much that it tasted like water...and the Orange Juice was not orange. It reminded me of Grapefruit juice but was sweeter... very watery also. 2) The pillows were too squishy and not memory foam.
My Kudos go to the breakfast turkey sausage being offered for a "non" pork person; and egg white veggie omelets. They were good. I also had the scrambled eggs which were good as well.

We had a room with 2 queen beds and it was palatial. Very nice. Even the mini fridge was huge.

Hotel was the perfect location for why we were in clermont. Guy who checked us in was professional polite and caring. As far as our room went…all was good except the AC unit was very noisy and the off button didn’t work.

After checking in I immediately dropped off my luggage and left to meet family. When I returned and was in the room the smoke detector was beeping every minute so I contacted the front desk. After 45 minutes they contacted me back saying they couldn’t find a new battery they would have to switch me to another room. The elevator leaves much to be desired. It would stop the door would open the the elevator would move while exiting it and the door might close when you were entering or exiting. I noticed the elevator inspection certificate on the wall was nearly 3 months expired. As far as Holiday Express’s this one leaves a lot to be desired. Maintenance is lacking in the one. The ice machine was out of order and the soda machine was completely sold out for the entire stay. Would not recommend this as a place to stay if you can find some place else.

I evacuated to this hotel during Hurricane Idalia. The place was crowded, staff attentive and professional.

Cons: remote did not work in our room, I contact two employees about this, they told me they would look into it and never got back to me. Could not change the channel the whole stay
Room service knocking on doors at 8:30 am when there is an 11 am checkout. Make sure you put up those do not disturb hangers

Amazing staff and the breakfast buffet was supperb!

We really liked it here. The only issue was housekeeping knocked on our door just before 9:00 in the morning. I didn't think I would have to put the do not disturb sign on the door. I guess it is what you have to do now. Other than that, it was a perfect stay.

The carpet in the room was soaked. The carpet in the room they moved me to was damp and smelled musty. Manager refused to adjust my rate and said she had no control over the weather. If it rains, it should not affect the inside of the room floor. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again. Poor customer service

It seemed odd that the TV was on when I first entered the room. Apparently that was because turning it off caused it to lose cable connection—the input had to be reset every time. I was not told of the problem and had to keep contacting the desk to figure out a solution. Also, a light bulb in the bathroom flickered constantly and the tub faucet got stuck fast at the hottest water setting and maintenance had to come release it. The desk and maintenance staff were responsive but it seemed there were issues that could have been handled differently or resolved before renting this room. When I expressed my frustration to management, I learned they could not compensate me with a discounted bill as I had booked online through a third party. Lesson learned.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. My only gripe was I believe the property is a little older and the carpet is not in good shape. It’s very dirty looking and I was afraid to walk in my room without shoes.
