We were treated like royalty. Didn’t want to leave. The breakfast lady was wonderful.. Public hot tube is down. But we had one in our room . We'll be coming back

The pictures are nothing like the space. I booked a room with a bunk because it was different for my kids. The bed was so loose. The room was poorly lit, the remote didn’t work for the tv, the kids furniture was beat up. Stains all over the carpets. Walls were so thin. The hot tub wasn’t working, the water slide didn’t work either, the pool room was freezing. We packed the kids up and went to a different pool for the evening. So disappointed.

I and other friends all booked here because they advertised a nice hot tub for us to use for medially required therapy, and the waterslide for kids to enjoy...both of which were not in service,and apparently so for a couple of months! The driveway was very icey and slippery! And they refused to provide a checkout receipt confirming that I had a zero balance with no claims made against the pre-authorization they made against my credit card upon checking in! Otherwise, though dated and with some obvious wear and tear, it was a comfortable room.

Decided on booking this hotel because of the hot tub pool and water slide. But neither the hot tub nor the water slide was in working order. I believe on something like that it should be made aware to the people booking that those types of things arnt in working order.

The good - staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and fresh options. The not good - the hot tub was out of order, waterslide broken, and pool floor was slimy to touch. We were in a bunkbed family unit and the bunkbed was in rough shape (squeaky, shaky), broken and sharp light switch in the bunkbed room, no shampoo or body wash in the bathroom, and the previous guest's half eaten food was in the fridge. Also, there were tip requests in a couple of prominent places in the room (printed business card requesting tips for housekeeping) and at the breakfast area. I havent encountered this at similar hotels in Alberta but maybe this is a new industry standard, who knows. We stayed here before without issue but we would likely pick a different hotel next time.

Rooms are super old and paint in the second room of the family suite was falling off the wall with lots of chips. Breakfast was tasty but they demand to serve you - but then the breakfast girl complained she didn’t want to work any longer and was ‘just going to close down’ before we got there - a full 1/2hr before it was supposed to be done. Bed was old and pillows were hard - room was cleaner and the bathroom was clean.

Stayed here for the CFR. Convenient location right off the highway, but still quiet. Excellent, polite and helpful staff. King room was a good size.

Was great other than housekeeping knocking on our door at 9 am

The room was dirty, there was hair in the bathroom and a used Keurig pod in the coffee stand. The roll away bed was not in the room as requested, and the one they brought was so uncomfortable with springs that it was un-usable. There is no kids option for tv channels, the child stations are disabled and the staff told us they do not have an option for us. The bathtub faucet ran constantly. I was not told the hot tub was broken, and there was a very large very loud party in the front of the hotel taking up the pool so small children were unable to use it. Overall the hotel did not meet my expectations and I will not be staying here again

Really enjoyed the breakfast. Hot tub was out of service but there were kids having fun on the water slide. Beds were comfy Carpet and furnishings were a bit dated. But for the price we thought it was very good and it was close to the event we were attending, would stay again.

For our stay, the hot tub was not working. The motel needs some maintenance including new carpets. The staff were great.

Friendly staff and a clean environment are paramount.

The hotel was good but a little dated Staff was awesome.Breakfast was served and good. I originally booked for six nights and had to leave early. We had booked through Expedia. We ended up getting a refund for the nights we did not use. Thanks to the hotel and Expedia.

Excellent staff - friendly and helpful. Hotel is dated and could use an update.

Restaurants nearby are pretty good, close to the highway, rooms are quiet, breakfast is good.

Hot tub was out of order.

The rooms were clean. Not a lot of parking as it shares a parking lot with Tim Hortons and another restaurant.

I booked 3 rooms for 3 families and all the beds in the rooms are just average, but the bathroom especially the bath tub was nasty.. seems like it has not been cleaned for years as it has a lot of nasty stuff inside it. The breakfast server were horrible as well! Yes, granted it was not stated in the amenities that it will be breakfast buffet but the servers are so rude..not sure if it's just because we are asian (*dont want to disclose nationality*), but they were so rude to us and not to other people (white in particular). My friends were asking for 3 glasses of milk and the server asked why did they need 3.. it's a family of 5 with 3 children. It was very horrible and insulting as they kept on looking at our table. We did not enjoy the breakfast at all as we cant eat properly because of them. Nonetheless, the only positive thing I can say about this hotel is the receptionist guy who checked us in was the friendliest, most accommodating receptionist i have ever encountered. I forgot his name but he's the rall guy with the beard and maybe middle-eastern dude.. he's the best!

This is the worst experience and the most unprofessional staff we have encountered. We check-in at around 9pm on Friday Sept. 1, our room is supposed to be in 4th floor and when we open the door a very foul smell greeted us. I called the front desk and asked for a different room because we can't take the smell, my kids almost trow-up due to the funky smell and the staff just told me that they dont have any room available and UNFORTUNATELY HE CAN ONLY FEBREZE THE ROOM. I went down to the front desk together with my kids and ask again if they can give us a different room and the same answer was given to me. I told the staff that there is no way that we are staying on that room and I am not risking my kids health and he shoulld check the room for him to know and smell the room but he said that IT IS NOT MY JOB AND I AM NOT A HOUSEKEEPING, IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM. It was shocking to hear that from a staff and he als told me that IF HE WERE ME HE WILL STILL STAY IN THAT ROOM AND HE ALSO HAVE 3 LITTLE KIDS THAT HE WAS WILLING TO LET THEM STAY IN THAT KIND OF ROOM. Without even checking the room he said those things to me. We drove 4 hours to get there and we are expecting a nice weeekend and end up to be traumatized with the smell of the room and rude treatment from the staff. To the Manager of Ramada by Wyndham Red Deer, I believed that who ever that staff is since he refused to give me his name needs a retraining, also should all your staff be wearing a uniform & name tag?

We really liked it here. We found the toilet in room 413 to be very small though. Lol it’s a mini toilet ! Like it’s not a normal size. It might just be closer to the ground which is weird but that’s okay. Everything else was amazing

The building is very smiley , the don’t have enough cribs for babies

They couldn't find my reservation and then my room was not ready so I had to get ready for a wedding in my car. Yes, they have a hot breakfast but they stand there and serve you in the self serve kitchen. Very awkward and they were very conservative with the portions. I ended up having a half of a waffle for breakfast and hit up Tim Hortons on the way out :/

Hot tub not working. Rooms were small and temperature was hard to control. Breakfast was excellent. Pool is excellent for young children.

It's nice, just need improvement for the free breakfast choices and buffet would be better.

Room says non smoking but it stinks.. towels are reused and have noticeable stain into it.. requested new towels which was provided. Breakfast was ok and staff are polite and approachable.

Would have been nice if the Hotub was working during our stay. The breakfast was real nice. Staff were real nice.
