Rather disappointed considering all the great choices in Cambria. I went with a higher cost hotel for better quality and it definitely wasn't. Charged an out hidden fee for our dog and then there was a huge list of restrictions. Rooms were very cold with no heat only a female fireplace that put out almost no heat. Pool and Jacuzzi were cold.

There was no AC or fan to circulate the air so the room got stuffy quickly. Room smelled of dog when we entered. Loved the location.

Beautiful ocean view room with fireplace and high ceilings. There was construction going on that affected us but the management made it right with a partial refund and discount on a future visit. We will definitely go back. Also highly recommend Moonstone Bar & Grill which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Great place to stay when visiting Cambria. Easy check in and spacious rooms. Would definitely stay there again. Only downside is I was looking forward to the fireplace but it didn’t work. I’m sure if I called the front desk they would’ve sent someone out but it was late at night.

Friendly staff. Great location, beach across the street, great restaurants within walking distance. Room was nice, clean and comfy. This time of year (January) it was very quiet and not busy anywhere you went.

There’s a bit of a funky smell in the room but it’s probably because of the proximity to the water. There are no restaurants within a walking distance but a cute little uptown is only five minutes away by car.

Beautiful location, very clean, very quiet. Bring your own pillows. The ones I had to choose from weren’t great.

A great place on the ocean. No cell service, but was able to connect via wi fi. Found the most convient places to dine was just a,short drive into town.

The front desk woman was incredibly nice and helpful while we checked in at 7:30PM. The room was incredibly spacious for two queens. There was a nice two person table and a desk. The fireplace was amazing and put out just the right heat. This room was so incredibly spacious for the three of us. My twelve year olds mess didn’t even reach my side of the bed :-). The bathroom was nice & the microwave and fridge were a money saver. Love this place and will definitely come back. Right across From moonstone beach.

We are on an 18-Day road trip to Texas and back thru CA to WA state. Hands down the best property we’ve stayed at the whole trip. Ideal location. Room was perfect and bed was very comfortable. We have our pup with us and this property is pup friendly. Two fun wine tasting rooms within walking distance as well as a couple of restaurants. We sat out by the fire pit with a glass of wine to watch the sun set last night. We’ll be back!

Great location, stuff is friendly, the only thing I’d like to mention is I got a message before checking in letting me know that they won’t clean the room until we check out. Also, there is no water bottles the only option is $5.00 Fuji water in the room.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, perfectly located gem , steps from the ocean with its awesome walking path and views, minutes from the lovely town center, and convenient set up with easy parking. Our room was immaculate and cozy, and we even had a propane fireplace . Thank you for a perfect stay , we wish it had been longer!

our room was DIRTY. The bathroom wallpaper is a grass like texture which made what I found on it extra gross for some reason. This is so gross- stuck on the bathroom wall - someone had picked their nose and wiped in on the wall and then there were long black hairs stuck on and around such gross nuggets. The bathroom ceiling was dirty and had mildew or mold stains.

We reserved 2 rooms on December 16th. Both rooms smelled musty. One of the rooms also smelled like cigarette smoke and the sheets on one of the beds was dirty.

We had been wanting to stay in Cambria for a while now, and we got a night at some really good rates so gave it a shot! I'm glad we did because the stay was great! property is clean and beautiful with lots of parking and a pool/spa to enjoy. It was a chilly December night so we took advantage of a warm spa to relax. The room was quite large even with our King bed. The fireplace was a nice touch and the bathroom and closet were quite large as well. The only downside to the room was it was a bit musty smelling. We aired it out when we got there and bought a candle to burn. Nothing terrible as you get used to it pretty much right away. Overall, it was great and would recommend a stay here if you're in Cambria.

Our experience at the Fog Catcher Inn was super enjoyable. The facilities were nice, my room was clean, relaxing and had comfortable beds. It is a short walk to Moon beach and a nice restaurant- the location was perfect for a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend staying here.

The bed was horrible and the bathroom tiles needed to be scrubbed really good. Just not worth the money we paid to stay there.

problem was a smelly bathroom sink. Needs to be cleaned out. One other issue with the blinds not working too well. And for me personally, the pillows and the bedding was too heavy. .On the other hand, the fireplace was a very nice touch., the location was wonderful!

I never give bad reviews; but I was extremely disappointed and pretty grossed out by our stay at the Fog Catcher. There was black mold in our shower, our sheets were so pilled and worn they were rough and uncomfortable, the pillows were all balled and had lumpy filling and the worst thing was that our mattress smelled! Hands down it was the worst hotel room experience we’ve ever had. Of all the places we have stayed in Cambria, this has been the worst!
