Receptionist was nice but check in process took over 30 min and she kept having to call manager over the phone with questions. We reserved 3 double rooms and she only had 1 double and 2 singles. After much back and forth she managed to give us 2 doubles and 1 single. The manager would not give us a discount on the single room even though we were inconvenienced to have a different room from what we reserved. She said we should be happy because 4 people with reservations will not even get a room!
The rooms were old, dirty, & 2 rooms smelled so horrible that we had to sleep with the windows open to air it out. The air conditioner did not work, the deadbolt did not work, the toilet was clogged. It appeared that the room had not been cleaned in weeks. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by this hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was for one night, we stayed for a local track meet. Front desk service was good. The elevator floor needed to be fixed. Room was clean, the kitchenettes fridge looked old. There really wasn’t a breakfast area just a corner table with grab items and coffee to over. We ended up going and getting breakfast. The overall sleep was good. No noise from outside the room. The pillows were flat but, mattress was comfortable. The TV was a little dated and small. Overall, the staff was friendly. Pets are allowed at the hotel, when coming in the lobby that night, one lady had two large dogs and the lobby smelled horrible.

The Waco/Woodway Extended Stay is a hotel that is showing its age. It is super conveniently located. The price is good for a budget-conscious traveler. the front desk staff are friendly but maybe not very safety aware.

This hotel is a good choice for a less expensive hotel. I want to comment the staff. They were very friendly, greeted me by name and were quick to respond to any needs I had. The customer service at this location is top notch.

I went to check-in, but the parking lot had just been resurfaced and the stench of tar was so strong it permeated the entire hotel, particularly the rooms they intended to put me in. I coulnd't stand it, so I immediately asked if I could cancel my reservation & they agreed to refund me stay. When i asked for a receipt to evidence the refund, the manager became combative and refused. It really made me think they were intent on ripping me off. I asked again and then they became threatening, so I left... probably the worst hospitality I have ever experienced, hard to believe these people represent this hotel chain, awful. I checked my account, still no refund. Very dishonest.

We’ve stayed at other Extended Stays before and it’s a decent hotel for what it is. My only issue is that when we arrived for our stay the elevator was down. It had apparently been down for awhile and we could’ve been notified before we booked the room. We were traveling with my disabled mother in law and ended up having to carry her to the 2nd floor. If we would’ve been made aware of the elevator issue we would’ve booked somewhere else.

Places stinks. Should've had a queen bed, it was a full. Staff more worried about sitting in the parking lot smoking and talking to their spouse than working the front desk. Place smells like straight WEED & Cigarettes. No cameras in the stairwells so people smoking in them and leaving their butts in on the floor. Elevator broke the entire stay. Refuses to give refunds even though when you checkout early and their OWN employee tells you shes going to issue the refund. Our job finished early and they stole the money for two rooms for one week.

We cashed in our points from Hotels.com for the stay. Gigi, the desk clerk was very welcoming and helpful in getting us checked in. She even went above and beyond to get us a replacement table lamp in our room as the first one was not working. The only criticism I have is that the “breakfast” was a granola bar or muffin with coffee on a grab and go table in the lobby. This was disappointing compared to similar motels that provide cereal, milk and juice in addition to coffee and baked goods.

Diana and JiJi gave great service. Both were super friendly. Beds are not the most comfortable but manageable. Hotel is dated but clean. Overall, very enjoyable experience.

What made our trip great, was the front desk person. She always greated the hotel guests with warmth and by name. Gigi is Amazing, and has great customer service, wish all hotels had a Gigi... i would for sure stay again especially if we know Gigi was still there.. We've been on the road 3 months now. In and out of many hotels and is the 3rd to the last we stayed at before we arrive home... But we rate it really high and a must stay at...

This Extended Stay America Suites Waco Woodway has a amazing staff. The front desk staff goes out of their way to make sure all your needs are met. Great stay. Clean. Being on the road a lot I love doing my own cooking.....

Not impressed. At 5 pm room was still not ready? Had to go eat before being able to get in. After traveling all day you want to get into your room on my month long trip this was the worst room.

Location convenient to mall, but inside was worn. Carpets were worn and furniture scraped up. Bottom of tub not textured and were easy for someone to slip and fall. Beds ok, but thin pillows. Breakfast consisted of granola bars, instant oatmeal, and coffee. Staff friendly

We did not stay, the customer service was terrible the manager she was actually sitting down on her phone when my wife and I was about to check in and she looked and decided to continue to talk on her phone instead of doing her job. We asked to view a room and it was dirty not up to par. The lady that showed the room just had an attitude which was unnecessary.

The Libby area was not fresh. Smokers outside at the door was not pleasant. Breakfast is grab and go. No coffee in room.

We did not get in until later. We walked in and there was a strong odor throughout the building and the room. When we got to the room, we notice countertop surface missing, refrigerator beat up, and not sure the last time the refrigerator top was cleaned. It was obvious that the sheets had not been changed since there was a stain on the sheet and used toilet paper next to the bed frame. If the sheets had been changed, one would have seen this toilet paper. Expedia said breakfast included. Breakfast was a granola bar or muffin and a cup of coffee. I asked and they said it was a grab and go breakfast. Highly misleading.Will never stay there again.

The only problem I found are there terrible beds/mattresses and pillows. I did not get much rest and woke up with a sore back and neck.

They did not have our room for us and did not help us find somewhere else to stay. They claimed check in ended at 6 when the website said midnight. The man working the front seemed to have no idea what was going on.

The hotel smelled strange, a bit musty. This smell was more intense in the hallway as opposed to the room but it was still present. There was no ceiling fan in the room so it was very stifling except for when the AC blew cold air.
The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows thin. I typically book some Marriot hotel brand but was trying to be a bit more thrifty because this was only a one night stay but totally regret it. Won't stay here again or at this chain.

Close to Extracto and plenty of dining options nearby. Check in was kinda time consuming. Absolutely nothing in the room from blow dryer, coffee pot, or typical kitchen items. You can order it but the lobby was so busy we weren’t able to. So I’d recommend doing at ck in.

The property was great only issue i had really was the door not shutting properly in the room and the TV not working overall it was a safe environment and i enjoyed my stay there, Diana was very helpful i would return once again

The staff that checked me in was awesome. When I walked in my room I was pleasantly pleased. But, it went downhill from there. I noticed there was no hair conditioner, just shampoo. I asked a cleaning lady who I saw in the hall. She informs me they supply shampoo, but not conditioner. It was too late to go driving around looking for conditioner and I had to be up early. The next morning after my shower I realized there was no blow dryer. Call front desk and she says none are available. My hair was such a mess the whole day. They did provide a blow dryer for the next morning. The 2 mornings I was there they ran out of 2go cups. With all the other hotel options I won't use this hotel again.

Amazing in every way. I came out to visit my girlfriend and I know for a fact I will choose this hotel over any other in the area!
