Very comfortable beds and great location.

Checked in just shy of midnight after a long drive. Immediately upon entering the room, I noticed something on the wall. Upon closer inspection, I found that it was a ROACH! My husband smashed it. We were exhausted & I told myself it was probably just one random roach that had arrived via a previous visitor. I was grossed out, but it was late & we didn't know the area well enough to search for other accommodations. The next morning I went into the bathroom to start getting ready for the day. What greeted me was ANOTHER ROACH! I have never dressed & packed so quickly in my life. I wanted out of there! My husband told the front desk person about the roaches when he returned the room keys & they just dismissed his comments by blaming the roaches on the constant flow of guests passing through. We didn't ask for a refund or anything of that nature, but we wanted to make sure the staff knew there was an issue. Apparently they don't care. Just think, if we had 2 ROACH encounters in 1 room, in less than an 8 hr stay, how many more are in that hotel???

I didn’t like how rude staff was to me and my family

This hotel is only a few minutes away from the World Equestrian Center where for the last few years my best friends and I go to and expo center where they host Anime conventions! The hotel staff was great, the rooms clean and spacious, great amenities and beds were comfortable. The only thing was the pillows were too soft and small, and that’s not even a big deal at all! Definitely would love to go back for our next convention in the Ocala area

I booked my reservation on line. I looked for a decent rate that included breakfast. On line this location advertised breakfast and I found out this morning it was not offered. I won’t be returning.

We had to shorten our stay at the property because of a death in the family and we have been trying since then to get a refund or credit for the days we never used but to no avail. Repeated calls to the property are met with countless excuses.

Mattress springs sagging and squeaky

There was no breakfast, just coffee.

Generally clean but has not been updated in a long time. The mattress was just horrible; you could feel the springs.

The only problem I had with the hotel was that the king size bed had broken springs... and was sunk down over the smashed broken part of the bed. It made the bed uncomfortable.

Generally a good place. The bed in the original room we were in had a very uncomfortable bed. We called the desk and they switched our room that night which indicates great customer service. We stayed close to a week and enjoyed our stay. They actually offered fresh towels every day and cleaned the room periodically which I appreciated.

Professional and courteous staff. Easy check in.

Nice room. It was very clean, but our biggest complaint was the bed, which could've used a new mattress! Not as bad as we thought it was going to be for sleeping, but was definitely pretty well used. A little lumpy - had some "depressions" in it and a few springs here and there that hit you in the wrong places! Took a bit of effort to get comfortable, but once we each found the right spot, we slept pretty well.

Liked that it was convenient but this property needs a completely renovation. Mattresses actually had indentations where our rear ends would go. Very old

Cleans and comfortable

This is a nice hotel. Looks recently renovated. Looked clean and smelled clean. Did wait a short time to check in as the staff member was a way from the desk. Not many dining options close. Have to go.one exit sputh for many dining options.

Second time I’ve stated here and it is newish and kept in pristine condition. Convenient to the Wirld Equestrian Center and reasonably priced!

I normally stay here 3/4 times a year but this last trip was not the best , the hotel is still very clean but there’s a slight odor of mildew or maybe the fact that so many animals are there that it not appealing . Only in the rooms may be it was just that room but it still wasn’t the best . I believe that if they get a better cleaner for the odor it would go back to being a pleasant stay. Will return because of convince to what I need when in Ocala .

We were in town for an event at World Equestrian Center and just needed a bed for the night. This is definitely a no frills kind of hotel. The room was clean but very stark in the way of furnishings. No place to sit other than one office chair and the bed. Furniture was minimal, small and cheap. At least the bed was comfortable. We did not arrive at the hotel until about 9 p.m. but I got a phone call from them at 7:30, no message was left so I called them when I saw the missed call and they said they were just checking to see if we still wanted our room! I thought that was odd since I booked through Hotels.com and the room was already paid for whether we checked in or not.

Close to airport . Has shuttle great customer service

Reserved king, got two doubles. Came in late so really just needed a quick sleep, was fair all the way around. Service was friendly.

We relocated here for my husband's work, but our housing situation got messed up and we ended up having to stay here for 2 weeks and i would definitely recommend me this hotel and if i ever need to stay in a hotel in ocala it will definitely be this one

It’s always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The accommodations are always well taken care of and clean. The guest relations are always courteous and helpful. I will continue to book with this hotel when staying in the area.

Everything was clean, staff was nice and professional.?would stay overnight again.

This will be the last time I try a Red Roof Inn. The bed had springs coming through in various places and huge divots in others. Very old, dated, and dirty. The staff was excellent, but the hotel needs a full revamp.

Room was clean. The only downside is the bed was hard and the pillows were terrible.
