Hotel is situated in a good spot. The facilities were clean, but old. Our bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Worse smelling hotel room ever. We were in a pet room so wasn’t expecting the nicest room but this was so bad. We walked across the street to Walmart and bought a wax warmer just to barely survive. People around us smoking cigarettes and slamming doors all hours of the night.

When I got too the hotel I had too sit there for 90 min while I waited on someone too get tho and check me in. They left the premises. The front desk work was completely off premises for 90 minutes. I was a female there at night waiting and it was very uncomfortable and scary. I don’t think I should have had too pay fir my room.. I would like a refund. I didn’t get too check in till after midnight and was gone by 7 am . It’s was a horrible experience

The outside of the hotel is older looking but that was to be expected. The room itself was also pretty average, only real complaint is the walls were pretty dirty with splashes all over. The rest of the room was decent. I had to make a quick run to Walmart and when I was getting into my car, the parking lot had several homeless people camped out. As a solo female traveler, it didn’t make me feel super safe. I was going to check out and change my reservation, but I spoke to Teresa and she was amazing and made me feel better. The second night there were kids screaming and crying from about 9pm to 8am next door to my room. The walls are very thin and I did not get any sleep. I didn’t go to the bar or breakfast area, so I cannot rate those. Overall, not horrible but I would not stay here if I was in town again.

Our coffee pot was not working, and we asked the staff to replace it. They replaced it really quickly. Breakfast was very good as well.

Loved Warm outdoor Pool . Kindly got free upgrade. To poolside room. Greatful. No ice machine anywhere☹️

The front desk associate wasn't there. I walked around looking for someone. Even calling out without a response. I waited a while before I turned my watch timer on and it was another two minutes before a person showed up. Lights in the hallway were not on. It was eerie.

This place was clean and worth staying at .

The location was perfect (right between Walmart and the winery where the festival was). Our room was perfect for a pet; we were able to sit outside our room in lawn chairs. The hotel was kept clean, but needs upgrades and some are in progress. Our shower had peeling fiberglass and a leaky faucet; the bathroom door was broken where the knob goes. The halls have uneven floors. The pool area is nice but had no functioning hot tubs. However the staff was accommodating, pleasant, cheerful and eager to please. Food options for breakfast were good and the person stocking them did an awesome job. Overall we had an awesome stay and will stay there again next year (when we hope to see some upgrades -- some are in process now). The bar staff is also great and make great drinks.

Staff was very friendly. My issue was with the room. No hot water and the air conditioner was so loud i had to turn it off. The lady working in the restaurant turned off the heat because "she gets hot" even though everyone who walked in complained about the cold. Biggest issue for me was lack of hot water and poor sleep because of the noise.

The staff was great both at the front desk and in the bar. We like that the hotel is pet friendly. The room was clean but seemed a bit worn, outdated and smelled of cigarette smoke.

Convenient to our work location. Stayed several times. Staff remembered us and always friendly.

Nice place to stay

The staff was very kind. Bed was good and sheets clean. Rooms are old, not clean and run down. Breakfast and bar were the cleanest parts of the building.

It’s always pretty quiet which we appreciate. We were disappointed that there was no accommodation to hang our clothes, RM #135. We were there for 4 days & had quite a few items to hang.

It is such an old hotel, you could hear the noise from both rooms on side of us, hard time falling asleep due to tv being on so loud at rooms on side of us, shower noise was terrible in the evening, and in the morning. Paint in bathroom was pretty nasty, ruffled up and missing.

The desk clerk was very helpful and changed my room to the ground floor when she saw the huge suitcase that I was lugging. Housekeeping only cleaned the room once during my 7-day stay. To be fair, I didn't complain as I didn't need my sheets changed and had plenty of clean towels. The included breakfast was the same every day, but there was enough variety that I didn't get tired of it.

The hotel was fine for the most part until we were packing up to leave and 2 roaches crawled out of the sink :/ Also there was some red/pink splotches of something that had splashed onto the toilet. Kinda gross. Great front desk ppl tho!

Breakfast room was cold

Room was clean. AC worked good. Good shower pressure. The bed mattresses were completely old and unsupportive. Woke up with back pain. I wonder how old those mattresses were?

Bed was comfortable

Mold in the bathroom, water damage in main room. Faucet to tub didn’t work unless you YANK on it very hard as we were told. Fire alarm went off from someone cooking, went outside. Told to go back inside. See fire department outside, everyone was out there but us. No one told us to go back outside. No water pressure to main sink. Carpets EXTREMELY dirty. Our socks turned BLACK. Claim to have room service. No room service menu. Will definitely steer clear of this hotel if I’m ever in Cañón city again.

So I want to say that the front desk people were very nice and polite and the lobby area was very clean and attractive. So we got a pet friendly room, and from the second we walked in, the smell was rough. It looked like cats had used the drapes to sharpen their claws as you could see daylight through the curtain everywhere. The walls and ceiling were super dirty, like that room was dying for a wipe down and a fresh paint job and some new carpet or at least shampoo the carpet. The light fixtures in the bathroom had all kinda of dirt on top as well as the top lip of the shower where it meets the drywall looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. The sliding walk out screen door was off it’s tracks and could barely move but I was able to get it back on it’s tracks. The sliding glass walkout door doesn’t lock at the handle so the only way to lock it is a flimsy aluminum piece of metal they have down in the tracks acting like a bar to keep people out. Overall, I know rooms that are pet friendly aren’t going to be as nice as non pet friendly rooms, but whew, this one was rough.

It was a good place to stay. People were very nice and the price was reasonable

Family vacation for 5 days, 2 rooms. Check in was easy & staff was friendly all 5 days. Arrived about 3p. One room was ready, they were in the process of cleaning our other room. One room had stains on the carpet but otherwise was clean, the other room looked like they were in a hurry to clean, carpet wasn't vacuumed very well & towels looked like they were hastily placed on countertop, otherwise it was good. Beds were very comfortable, both TVs worked. Breakfast mornings was pretty decent, 2x waffle makers, eggs, biscuits & gravy, cereal, mini muffins & pastries. Ladies were constantly making sure food was stocked & counters were clean. Pool looked good, i didn't go swimming, hot tub was out of order, glass was broken on door to the area - broken glass didn't have tape covering it? Drinking fountain was out of order. Overall, a good place to stay, would recommend the hotel & will stay again when i come back to area.

Me and my husband stay here every time we have something going on in around the area it's not terribly far from dining places and you in the middle between Cotopaxi and pueblo west which is convenient.

Newly remodeled but still has the feel of a 1960s roadside motel. Only problem no elevator.

Property is overdue for a renovation. Place is old and falling apart. Furniture is worn and torn. Rooms are dingy with the ceiling in horrible shape. Exterior of the hotel is dirty as well.
