Nice hotel, will recommend next time we are in town

Roaches everywhere. Nightclub next door loud music till 3am. Asked to have room changed to other side so i would not hear the music so much around 11pm, staff said they are full and no room available but they had a room on first floor cause i walked my dog at 10pm can see the room was not filled same room empty in morning so staff just doesnt care. Place is just awful, just terrible.

No hot water, roaches, and a crazed man screaming and raising his fists to the clear at 445 in the morning. Worst place I’ve stayed in quite some time.

Entered Hotel and was greeted with a bad smell in the Lobby. A large bug was crawling around the floor and it was just dirty everywhere. Our room was just as bad if not worse. There where stains in the sheets bedding toilet was dirty and it smelled of mold. They would also not refund our stay as we decided to leave and booked somewhere else.

Checked in over the holidays. Saw roaches in the bathroom. The staff checked me into another room where they said it was just cleaned but had socks from the last guest and bugs along the window. I booked for 2 days but only stayed that night because I was tired from driving.

I am usually pleased with Red Roof Inns, but this one exemplified the deterioration of standards in the hospitality business overall. Rust permeated the towel rack; the toilet was semi-inoperative (the lid had to be raised and the flapper unstuck); noise and loud music could be heard all night on the floors below me without any seeming attempt to stop it from the staff; small roaches and other strange insects shared my room; and the internet was slow and sporadic at best. I had an early morning checkout due to my flight and had requested a wake-up call which never came (there were no alarm clocks in the room). At checkout, I had requested an emailed receipt, which after a week has still not arrived - presumably because the desk clerk on duty was too busy talking to a friend and immediately disregarded my request.

They had roaches and water bugs in the room and told me they had a pest problem but don’t tell guest unless they appear. Claim I could not get a refund but nothing that was signed had anything that said the first 20 minutes you are there you are stuck.

The room wasn’t clean. There was cockroach all around the room even more on the bathroom. Staff was super nice.

My wife and I stopped here after a long day of driving with the hopes of a comfortable bed and breakfast before hitting the road again in the morning. The hotel was noisy, with lots of questionable people coming and going when we arrived. Room and beds was just adequate. They really should not say they include breakfast as there was horrible. No coffee ready, no mil or cream, just powder a a few sweetners, few pieces of bread and a toaster but no butter or jams and One banana . Definitely not worth stopping

They went in my room stole my money while I was out having breakfast, the manager viewed the video saw who went in my room and claimed that the person don’t work there but , they had keys to the room they’re all thieves at this hotel ……. Stop asking me for reviews because am writing exactly what happened to us at this place and that’s what happened

You would think that it being by the hospital it would be a decent hotel, but there’s bugs a lot of homeless people and lowlifes over there. Also, right next to a club. Bad area bad hotel will never see again. Service was great though.

I did not go to the inside of the room because I did not feel safe at the hotel. They were people hanging out in the parking lot with their lights on and women getting in and out of cars and I just did not feel safe. I will never go back to that hotel again.

A lot of loitering outside in the parking lot. Did not feel safe. Hotel in terrible condition. Mold on blankets. Extremely drunk Person continuously banging on door across from our room. We showered and left in less than 30 minutes.

Very noisy people screaming and fighting in the halls. The TV was falling off the wall and the screen was distorted. Would not recommend staying here.

The building is shabby. Receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Room was decent, fairly clean. Severely dissatisfied when I turned on light at night to go to bathroom—little tiny roaches everywhere. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to possibly take critters home!

Loud music in the parking lot at 1am. People hanging out in the parking lot at 1am. Staff unwelcoming. Facility in poor condition: needs a paint job, ripped curtains, empty pool with no safety measures for kids not to play in, roaches, bathroom with mildew on shower head, complimentary breakfast was a joke, the room was not safe since the lock was broken. I woke up to cigarette smoke.

Worst place ever. I’ve try to call expedia for a refund because I ask to quit when i saw the room and she says she can’t do nothing unless call expedia. No answer at Expedia!! She offer (lol) a room with 2 king bed for 30$ more !!! Horrible! Lound music all night, police officer at 3 am for we dont know what. When I check out, i’v talk to a lady who was leaving et she was upset about the place and they do nothing! Red roof no more! Expedia, you have a part of blame! Impossible to call someone and get a refund. I lost my money. My car was a better place.

Hotel needs helpful workers and better process. Was advised owner/ manager was gone for the day and certain things couldn’t be completed …

This property was filthy and had roaches

Roach climbed on my leg. Then several roaches in the bathroom have video. Owners refused to give refund. This was the most horrible hotel that I've ever stayed in my entire life. I would not wish anyone to stay there. It's horrible it need to be burnt down.

Aside from the front desk ladies day & night, this hotel is & has got to be 1 of the nastiest hotels ive ever stayed in, ive travel all over this country as a contractor & truck driver for some time. Ive stayed in some $40,$50 a night in some not so pleasing areas and in those Ive never had or experienced the level of filth & disgust as I did at this REDROOF INN BORDEAUX area in Fayetteville NC, it is invested with roaches, dead, living, babies, eggs, adults, their in the dresser, shower, bathriom, mixrowave, refrigerator, and yes they will be there right next to you or coming to snuggle n eat some chios and watch the movie with you! After a week the owner finally sending refund but telks me ive been placed on "cannot stay list" lol because i complained about the roaches, along with the noise from John's in & out paying their "providers" a 15, 30min 1hr visit, not to fail in mentioning as I was told while at front desk to report the tv hanging in the wall n screen jacked up, i hear a stranger off the streets was found sleeping butt naked in the breakfast pantry on top of & where breakfast food is kept!!! This is in no way to reflect upon the women who work the front desk day & night they are awesome, very professional, the owner/manager Sonny is not interested in good hospitality customer care nor the quality of the hotel, his interest is filling rooms, getting money regardless of how & who's paying whether its a traveler, drug dealer or a escort aka lady of the day or night

All red roof inn just needs to shut down.

The place was not as nice as the pictures online. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but the first room they gave me smelled like smoke. And the cleaning people if they cleaned left trash in the room. The bathroom was so gross. They did put us in a different room which was only a little bit better, by it didnt smell like smoke. We slept on top of the blankets and didnt even think about showering there. There was also alot of their weekly people there, which made the place like a rent by hour hotel.

First time staying at a Red Roof Inn.I will not go into bashing the place. Pet friendly and pet stayed for free was the best part of the stay.

I stopped driving around 12:30 and reserved a room based on 7/10 score. Checking in- There were people smoking in the parking lot hanging out by cars. Lobby smelled of marijuana. The front desk copies your identification when you check in. They give you a parking pass or your car will be towed. Not sure why the excessive tow policy - lot was relatively separate/secluded from others. I had to return the pass during checkout (it’s a photocopied piece of paper). The lady that checked me in was polite, but not very friendly or welcoming. The room itself was just ok. Bed was fine, air conditioning worked, TV worked. Shower was tiny, but worked. All very basic but functional. The linens appeared clean. The room was generally clean, but with aging establishments there are high touch areas that might benefit from some attention. Hotel is non-smoking -I don’t smoke- but there is a faint cigarette smell. I would guess at some point in the past the room used to be a smoking room - it got a little worse when the AC was running. Loud music at establishment next door well past 3am made falling asleep before 4am a challenge. Overall, between the late night music, the uneasy feeling I had leaving my car in the parking lot - I’ll never stay there again. I think the hotel is trying to attain a certain standard - but is fighting a losing battle given its location. For example - I’ve never seen a hotel with a no sagging pants policy on the front door.

Our stay was fine. It was one night, great rest and an opportunity for my family to stay together in one place. The water was hot and everything except a place in the shower which had mold on it, was clean. Nothing a little bleach couldn't handle.

Nothing matched how it looked in the pictures and there was roaches and spiders located in the bathroom tub and by the table in the little open space by the couch. Never going back or doing a pit stop at any of those locations.

Hotel smelled of smoke, little dead bugs that looked like roaches in the corners of room. Free breakfast was a joke. Had to go out and get breakfast. Would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Hotel had a ritual of towing cars from parking lot during late night hours which disrupted sleep.

Bug in bed and some guests made my stay uncomfortable.
