It was good. I was a bit surprised that we could not get to check in a little early. We traveled here for a family event and would have been nice to be accomadated as a little early check in. No effort was made to help us with that. Most places we have stayed will at least try to accomadate that.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay. Check in was easy and staff was super friendly. Room was clean and comfy. The little waterpark was perfect for our kids’ ages (loved having a toddler pool and kiddie slide for the 3 year old, and the bigger pool and side for our 6 year old). Breakfast in the morning was delicious. There was also a 24/7 coffee/espresso machine in the lobby that my husband and I took advantage of several times. Overall, super pleased and no complaints!

The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The only improvement I would suggest is better towels and lighting in the bathroom. Otherwise, nice place to stay.

$250 fee for having pets, because I couldn’t understand the mumbling front desk person. So apparently, I violated their policy. And there’s nothing I could do about it. Hotels.com didn’t help me either. Read the reviews on this place. Avoid this place! The pool isn’t even that nice, it was overcrowded and so loud! We didn’t even stay the second night because we would’ve been accrued another $100 charge.

Our room was so comfortable, the hot tub was clean, hot and so inviting. Emily could not have been more accommodating and pleasant at check in. Definitely would stay again when in the area.

Overall the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good with a nice clean area to eat. The problem we had was housekeeping. There was a problem with staffing so they had to do "random" cleaning. I was told this rudely by the weekend evening staff. We had to ask to have our room cleaned. When they did clean, they didn’t wipe down tables and counters. The changed linnens on the third night.

Lovely hotel. Super clean and comfortable. Only one thing I'd note is that there was some sort of dirt under the couch cushion. Not a huge deal, but notable.

Woman at front desk when I checked in at 1am was not friendly. My room was not vacuumed and had a thick strip of dust along the perimeter of the room where a large dead 2” bug was dried up dead in plain sight. I requested a vacuuming the next morning, which was done, but again not the perimeter. Well worn furniture, for the price I’d have expected more in a small town. Won’t stay again.

Property is well kept. Clean. Excellent pool area, especially for kids. Nice coffee machine by front desk available 24 hours. Good breakfast and ample fitness room. Will likely stay there again when back in area.

The Sparta Trail Lodge has consistently performed way above average for us each and every time we stay there. No surprises (as in dirty anything...this facility is SUPER clean! ), pleasant staff, easy location, nice breakfast.

I was disappointed when I checked in that my reservation was not in the system. I was also not given a confirmation number. I could not get the one king room I reserved
The manager was on duty to check us in He was able to provide us an alternative. He was on the property day and night checking on all the guests to ensure we were enjoying our stay. He provided everything we could ask for. The breakfast was fantastic both mornings. The pool was wonderful and very relaxing. Appreciated the snack/ soda area too.
The location was easy to find and close to the events we were in town to participate in.
There was some repair work being done. We found piles of remotes in the hallways for some reason. It was also unsettling to find some of the locked doors to either be inaccessible or being propped open
Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely book a stay again when I am in the area

We stayed for 3 nights during Memorial Day weekend with our dog. The hotel is one of the cleanest I have stayed in. The breakfast was awesome with alot of choices. The breakfast attendant was on top of everything making sure it was well stocked. Every hotel team member I came into contact with was attentive and very accommodating. The pools and pool area is very well kept. Room we stayed in was in the “pet wing” cause we had our dog with us. It was very easy to get in and out of the hotel through the side door. The grounds are very well kept and accommodating for a dog. The hotel is located on a dead end road with plenty of room to walk your pet. And it’s very quiet! Room was clean, beds were comfy. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Will definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful get away!

Bugs!! 15-20 lady bugs crawling around the ceiling, flying around the room. When front desk staff was alerted, she said “I’m sorry “ but no offer of a solution. The traveler at the desk when we checked in was complaining of lady bugs in her room and she got the same response we later received. How do lady bugs even get into a 3rd floor hotel room when the windows don’t even open?!

The room was very nice and very clean. The mattresses were very comfortable. Breakfast area was extremely clean and the choices were good. No complaints what so ever.

Enjoyed our stay, clean, quiet, comfortable bed. The pool and kiddy pool were great, area clean. Good coffee and breakfast items.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. We had stayed there in the past and had enjoyed the convenience of they’re restaurant. I was not happy to find out at check-in that the restaurant was closed due to staffing issues on the weekends. This hotel was changing premium rates because of a festival 20 miles away yet they were missing a major service. I really think they should rethink the practice of raising rates and cutting service. Was not happy and will hesitate to give them my money in the future.

Very nice overnight stay. We biked the trail and were a little confused that the hotel is not ‘right on the trail’ as the website notes. Also Brewskies Bar/Restaurant is closed due to no staff wanting to come to work. Get off the government handouts and get back to work folks.

Kids love the large pool and slide, as well as the hot tub. We have stayed in the past and it is a great spot.
