Had a very nice stay. Appreciate that the hotel is per friendly. Like the location.

I was unaware the hotel was under construction. We were given a newly remodeled room that was clean and spacious. There were wrappers and remodeling scrap left in window seal. The tv remote didn't have batteries and after got batteries the tv didn't work which is unfortunate because its March Madness. The staff told me she would definitely comp us and switch our rooms the next day. There were no available rooms but finally staff hooked up the tv around noon the next day. One of our plans were to watch basketball so it was an inconvenience and we did not get anything taken off the bill as promised. The weight room has 3 pc of equipment one that didnt work which was also an inconvenience. Hopefully after he remodel this location will be better.

Large newly reno'd comfortable room. Good breakfast options. Short walk to 3 restaurants. Two comments: all guest must walk by the smoking area, which is used by staff and visitors. The ground is covered in cigarette butts. The area should be moved so non-smoking guests do not have to smell the smoke and staff should be picking up the butts every time they are out there. And, we are NOT a fan of the constant fan on the HVAC system. There is no way to turn if off or down unless it is unplugged and that also means no heat during a chilly Feb night. Great property and we would stay again.

The fact you can bring your dog no questions asked is very nice. It was very clean and pleasant. The beds were super comfortable and everything you could need for a shower is provided.. all Dove brand. Evening service was good, morning not so much. The included breakfast leaves some things to be desired and service was non existant. Altogether not a bad stay but if they had a better staff it could have been a great stay.

Very clean, even while remodeling we had no bad experience. Staff at check in very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here every time we come to hocking hills ohio.

Property looks like it getting ready for improvements but it’s way past due. The rate is absolutely ridiculous and can only be considered price gouging. Something was spilled in the elevator and hallway on the Friday I checked in and was still there when I checked out Sunday. The beds were awful and I hope are being replaced. Could smell the people smoking cigarettes and marijuana right outside our window. We were on the second floor. Seems to be a typical hotel owner doing minimum to keep the brand flag while taking advantage of the guests. The staff we did interact with were friendly.

Stay was adequate, but not even close to being worth the money being charged. Had issues with the faucets, shower not working correctly, and noisy. Not a $300+ a night value.

I would like to first state that my normal experience with Holiday Inn Express is much better than this hotel. The staff did their best but after having to move to a second room because the TV didn't work (and the remote was missing), the second room was very cold and hard to adjust, the TV remote didn't work and the HDMI inputs were apparently disabled. This left us with no real entertainment unless we watched shows on our laptop which we did. The breakfast included was very good and fresh. Overall this stay was annoying. I would not recommend this hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It could use updating, but I noticed a sign at the front desk that they are working on that. We were there on a weekend and the breakfast area was so busy. The lady working it could've used some help keeping it stocked. Overall, I would stay there again and would recommend.

Very nice clean hotel, the beds were comfortable. The only con I had was that breakfast didnt start until 7 AM on the weekend, we were a group of 4 and some were sleeping wanted to get coffee without waking them up.

The breakfast bar was nice, especially the warm pre-cooked oatmeal. Service on Sunday was good, too. On the down side, we let the front desk know that we could not completely turn off the water at the sink by the refrigerator. It remained unfixed. We asked about the fitness center and staff told us where it was - but didn’t mention that it was closed. Desk provided a toothbrush, but did not have herbal tea.

Within a relatively short driving distance to local attractions Hocking Hills State Park, Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs and Conkle Hollow. Shopping area with a Walmart, Dollartree etc. less then 5 minutes away.

Clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was nice with lots of options and breakfast staff was great! Front desk were nice and helpful too! We didn't get to use the pool this time, but plan on returning!

Disgusting room. Shower was dirty and , shower head covered in rust and grime. Sticky substance on the bathroom counters that was not cleaned. Odd odor throughout the hotel. Will never come back.

quick get away for parent weekend at OU. enjoyed the stay and my daughter was happy for a private shower and comfy bed..unlike dorm living,,,lol

Check in was smooth. Staff was helpful. WiFi is slow. Place has poor coverage for data on cell phone. Breakfast was good and staff very nice. Property is awaiting much needed renovation as decor is dated. Overall- nice place the staff and being pet-friendly will recommend the place.

This hotel is in serious need of a major renovation! It should not even have the Holiday inn name on it. Listen to the other poor reviews and stay away!
The corridor and room was dimly lit (I'd say I'm grateful for that in this case). The carpet is old looking and has a brownish tint to it, I was afraid to remove my shoes. The room was humid feeling all night even with AC on low. The room had a smell that reminded me of a mildewed tent. I did not stay the entire night

Breakfast was really good for chain hotel and excellent servers. Very friendly. Pool is nice, room.sizes are good. Mattress was decent but bed frames were old. I recommend them.

We checked in about 12:30 am. It’s after 1:00 and we’re still locked out of our room. And there’s no cell service. And no other hotels for miles. And the desk clerk is new.
We’re still sitting in the hall…
