Good location but mosquitoes in the room

I enjoyed my stay at Travellers. It was the perfect size unlike some of the huge resorts. The resturant staff could be more attentive, but the food is good. The resturant also overlooks the beach with great views. The room could be brighter, there was only a single window in our superior room and the bathroom door was poorly designed likey due to limited space. The hotel is located towards the bottom of the strip which is handy if you want to walk into town which was about a 15 minute walk. There are limited services eg - no currency exchange or ATM so be prepared to head into town for things like that. I enjoyed my stay, the grounds were nice, everywhere was clean and they spray for mosquitos.

My kids saw ants in our bathroom first minute of arrival, typical in Caribbean stays. Asked them first day to spray, none was done. All restaurant's are slow to bring out food, expect over an hour for food. Other than that hickup resort was enjoyable and I would stay again.

Great service and food

The resort was beautiful, but old. Some "fixes" really made it show it's age. We were a large group & for the most part they were really good about accommodating us. There was a few hiccups for everyone, but all were resolved .

Travellers was such a delight to stay at. The property grounds and room were clean and well taken care of. The bed was very comfortable with quality linens and good towels and toiletries in the bathroom. We were also so pleased with the restaurant on site that served delicious meals at a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this place as a place to stay at in Negril and as frequent travellers to Jamaica, we look forward to staying here again!

We came down, party of 10, friends and family. Travellers was very accommodating at the restaurant and beach allowing us to sit together! Beautifully landscaped and maintained resort with great food!

What we liked- lovely small hotel, amazing food, beautiful pool and great for swimming laps, friendly nice staff, great beds & bathrooms, towels, and many American TV channels. What we didn't like- loud local music at dinner that starts at 7pm, so if you eat early, you can avoid it.

The property is quite nice and clean. Unfortunately I was given the worse room in the building overlooking the parking lot and noisy road. They were unable to move me to another they were all booked up. They did not offer anything to compensate me for the less than satisfactory room. This is the fourth time I’ve stayed there. I made the mistake of not asking for a balcony room overlooking the view. The food was not as good as it was last year.

Well kept grounds. Like staying at a private estate. Restaurant is good if not the quickest. Beach area is kind of compact but it's ok. Pool is nice with swimup bar. Felt safe walking along the Blvd. Would stay again.

Travellers met all my basic needs. The property was clean, safe with friendly staff and spacious rooms. I have one complaint, while I was there, on several days, the kitchen ran out of some of the breakfast items (especially the Jamaican breakfast) way before breakfast ends & that was very disappointing. Besides that, everything was good. I will be back in the future.

The only place I can bring myself to stay when I visit Negril. I am sure there are other hotels that are just as nice, maybe even better but Travellers feels like home and I can’t wait to return.

Great hotel and location. Hotel is clean with plenty of amenities for all age groups. The grounds are exceptional and everything is very clean. The room was clean and smelt very nice as some other hotels we have stayed in the room has had a musty smell. Staff are amazing in all sectors. We have stayed on many appartments and hotels along the 7 mile and this is ranked as one of our best experiences.

Property was nice. Beach are was smaller than at other hotels. Rooms were decent. The food at the restaurant was fantastic. Most employees were great, however, there were some that could use some customer service training.

Clean, comfortable straight to the point accomodation. Its quiet, and the service was great. The height of the busy seqson did not phase them. My 1 complaint, and it isnt much anyone can do, is or was the masquitos....I got bit up quite alot while in my room. Other than that, Travellers is a great spot with good food, service, and its close to town in Negril..

Great small resort in a convenient location, but you'll probably want a car. The resort is *not* all inclusive (meals, including breakfast, and drinks must be paid for) but they have a spacious pool, a nice little section of beach, and a bar-restaurant between the two, so it works well. Between this and the lobby, a one-story row of rooms faces a two-story row of rooms across a quiet courtyard; it's a nice design. The facilities are clean and well maintained, the food is good and the staff is friendly.

The staff is always ready to help with anything.From the cleaning staff, to the owners. I have never had better service in Jamaica. They do what they say. I felt cared for ...just like family. Soon come back...as they say here. Fabulous!
