Had to ask twice for coffee pods, and the staff were very apologetic.
Beds are very comfortable. Rooms were delightful. We had a couple back masage andbit was superb. Locality of the hotel was excellent.

We stayed for 4 nights in a suite at this lovely hotel in Alicate. This was soon after our hire car had been broken into and all our stuff stolen. The staff were very helpful and sympathetic, and we appreciated leaving our car in their secure garage. The suite was very clean , with lovely sofas and comfortable beds. The hotel is very central in the old town, well placed to visit the castle and churches.

This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Alicante’s “old town” the staff is welcoming, professional, and helpful.
Our room was nice and comfortable, but had a couple quirks. It was up a winding stairway, with a shower whose temp regulator had a mind of its own, and where the frosted glass door to the toilet was hard to close. But these are really not-picky details that do not diminish the overall quality of the place. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very convenient and walkable to shops, dining, sightseeing and the beach.
The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. The one issue I had with the room was when you are wearing the hotel slippers the bathroom floor can be very slippery so you have to be careful. The buffet breakfast has many offerings and was very good.
I was very comfortable here and felt safe. We were not prepared to be told when we arrived that the hotel parking was full which at first was inconvenient but the staff quickly directed us to a public parking garage that was a quick 5 minutes walk and half the cost so in the end it was better for us.

Im blessed to stay in hotels around the world and rhis dod not dissapoint. Every floor had been renovated. Reception were excellent. 5 stars!

5 star hotel in the middle of town. For sure a nice hotel but we were challenged but to temperature regulator not working properly in the shower. Didn’t euin our experience but shouldn’t be the case at this price. Charging 30 € for late checkout is from my POV not suitable for a hotel of this standard/price level If there is space it should be offered free of charge

The Hospes Amerigo offers an oasis in the middle of the city. It is very clean, the breakfast buffet food and staff were top notch. We had a couples massage in the spa and the ladies were awesome. All the sites, museum, restaurants, stores and the beach were at a walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel for any visit to Alicante.

We’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times and we really enjoy the location and the quality the hotel offers.
Unfortunately on this particular stay there were a few issues, which were minor due to refurbishment. One particular receptionist being rude but reported this and I feel it will be dealt with immediately
However this will not stop us returning in the future

We had room at the top floor and the elevator didn’t go up to that floor. We had to walk stairs from floor 3 to 4

A great, safe, well appointed hotel perfectly situated near the water and old town. There are restaurants on the street next to the back of the hotel and we found them great. This is Alicante.

No pool service for drinks or snacks, one must go try and fimd someone in the spa or go down 4 floors to reception!! Not good for a 5 star hotel

We had a lovely stay. Staff were friendly and multi-lingual. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice and we loved the view from the roof-top swimming pool.

Had a great workation in Alicante! The hotel is well situated, beautiful in design, and the team is super attentive and friendly.
Growth areas: wi-fi was spotty and the shower/bath wall is high and requires extra care to get in.

Lovely hotel, very nice suite. The only things I didn't like were as follows:
Lack of bathroom and toilet privacy - glass doors that don't shut properly and sliding doors that don't really isolate the rooms. Fashion has given way to function. Maybe I'm just too old.
Had a poor breakfast (porridge too runny, omlette thrown together and burned without real care.) However, these were the exceptions rather than the rule.
I would definitely stay here again. It is in a great location, the staff are excellent and the quality of the hotel is very high.

Superb - the only word to describe this hotel. From the time I arrived at check-in Christina provided excellent service that exceeded my expectations - warm, welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable are how I would describe my experience. The rest of the staff was just as accommodating offering water to go on a hot day.
The hotel itself is centrally located near the beach and restaurants are within walking distance. And the facilities are just as superb - clean, spacious, eco-friendly.
This was my 2nd time staying here and I will keep coming back because of the level of service they provide.
