Some drunks were staying there, saw one little boy carrying a liquor bottle, looked like an employees homie possibly cause she was bickering with him. So they didn't do anything to shoo him. They were closing doors loudly and being a nuisance in general.
Door to my room was propped open when I I arrived, no one was inside so I got comfortable. My bed wasn't made and a lady phoned the room to deliver towels but they never got delivered. Overall a terrible experience, if i hadnt just drove for 13 hours I would have left (I got dressed and packed up my stuff but I really didnt want to waste the money)
The receptionist who received me was very courteous. She assisted me when I asked about parking my little trailer out of the way. Thank you Ms.

The staff is always helpful. Fridge needed to be plugged in and remote found but I have stayed there many times and they always make it right and are friendly about it.

This is one of the worst places ive ever stayed. First the placed me in a room that was supposed to be out of order. Mold in the bathroom, heater falling off the wall, burn marks in the blankets, the water barely got hot, and the tv had 4 static filled channels. The worst part is the missing fire detector, because why would a person need that in a room with potential electrical issues. Luckily, i had to be elsewhere most of my stay, but by far the worst establishment. None of the pics are up to date, so what you see, is not what you get.
I cant even blame the manager completely, its the owners of the building that should fined for the horrible condition of this hotel.

2 weekends in a row there. First weekend shower ceiling caved in because water issue. Second weekend first room wasn’t clean, mold on ceiling, roaches. There put us in different room next night (keep in mind that’s was already second of night), girl at counter made sure it was clean. So to sum up Friday night 1st room Gail moved to 2nd, slept there then seen roach mixed to 3rd room Saturday.

My daughter and i drove from Minnesota to Lawrence Kansas for only a one night stay. When we arrived the girl at the front desk was busy (which wasnt the issue). I asked to use the restroom while waiting for her to finish and that was apparently not in working order. There was also no microwave (as advertised) and no remote in the room. Bedding also seemed as if it wasnt changed. We vacated the hotel and went to another. I asked for a refund which I think is understandable and a valid request. I will never return.

We stayed for one night while traveling and saw over a dozen roaches crawling around our room and bathroom floors. This was probably due to the fact that there was left over food on the floor in multiple places, including a whole Dorito chip laying next to the bed. To top things off, two of our towels looked like they were dragged through dirt. Absolutely awful experience. I don’t expect luxury from a Motel 6 but I should at least have a clean and bug free room and clean linens.

We stayed in the same motel a week earlier and I noticed the same pieces of debris in the same spots on the floors. so it hadn't been cleaned in a least one week. This was in the common ares not our room.

The extra fee was not disclosed up front when I made the reservation. That was very upsetting. Also the tv in my first room didn’t work, they moved me to another room and then I had to ask for a microwave which Ashley did bring me. Ashley was very helpful and friendly! Then when I went to take a shower the shower didn’t work. Overall not a good experience. I thank Ashley for trying to help.

Very nice hotel for a budget place. Price a little high, but that’s what you can expect on a football weekend. The entrance is hard to find until you finally see the sign in front of Burger King.

This place is gross. The bathroom needed to be cleaned, and the tub water was almost to my knees when I braved my way through a shower in it. There was no refrigerator, and I got a head nod when I mentioned that. I reserved a smoking room, which they gave away, and then had to pay a $75 deposit to stay in a non smoking room. The place is disgusting and the staff are rude and worthless

This hotel was very bad when I walked in I asked to use the restroom and it was broken
I got to my room and found the cable didn't work then at 11pm I picked up the phone to call the desk and found my phone didn't work so at midnight I got up and dressed so I could go to the front desk and and ask them to stop the cattle drive going on above my room

WHEN I SHOWED UP AFTER A VERY LONG DAY THEY HAD GIVEN MY ROOM AWAY AND THEY COULD NOT FIND MY RESERVATION, TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO GET IT FIGURED OUT THEN I CAME HOME WITH BIG RED BITES ALL OVER MY LEGS FROM BED BUGS.

This was close to our event. We checked in around midnight. Basically only slept. As we were leaving there was a cockroach crawling across the outside of our door.

price and staff were good, but the room did not have a fridge and the ice machine in the hallway was broken 3 out of my 4 nights. First, they gave me a room that stank with smoke and then they gave me a room on the first floor next to the front desk which was noisy.

They checked us into a room that was occupied. Then moved us to another room that had just been painted and had paint fumes. The other guests didn't sleep. Doors were slamming all night. Our pillow cases had hard stains. Cigarette butts and ashes were everywhere. Beer bottles with cigarette butts littered the parking lot. The staff were friendly but distressed.

The audacity to assign rooms to guest in parts of the hotel where conditions are well below standard. Needing a convenient stay shouldn't mean offering the worst available and passing it off as acceptable.
I'm extremely disappointed. And the amenities listed were not all priced.

Cons: DIRTY. Killed 7 cockroaches plus other bugs and the carpeted floors need a major disinfecting.

The people traveling with me were accosted by a addict at the front door. Staff didn’t react. Police were called and hauled him off after he did the same to a staff member. Holes in the walls, black mold, room wasn’t ready even 2 hours after check in. All Lawrence hotels were full. Stay here at your own risk, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I had to leave after first night of a two night stay. The comforters had multiple holes and hair on them - there was trash on floor. The window pane was broken with what appeared to be a bullet hole. The curtain was off the pole. The towel rack was ripped from wall. It appeared to have bugs on the sheets which were stained.

Okay for the price. Right off the highway as well. The morning employees were no where to be found for a good 30ish minutes when trying to check out.

Commode was nasty, moved to another room floor had not been swept, faucet in bathtun had a hole and in need of repair...no coffee available, location terrible, freezer on frig i need of defrost...floor in lobby needed to be

Our room wasn’t clean. When lady for the day we came back to the beds not made up(we needed clean sheets on my husbands bed), we had 1wash cloth the first night we were there, and no clean towels or washcloths the second. The only reason I even agreed to stay another was that it was graduation weekend for his grandson……
There was a homeless camp just to the east of the facility, and they were in and out of the motel!!!!
NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
