I come back every year for the spa rooms. The rooms are updated and have a mini fridge, microwave and TV.

This hotel is definitely older. The outside looks more updated. The room was ok for a more affordable hotel to stay in Bend. It definitely could have been wiped down more on the floors and corners of the bathroom. Some tile was broken in the bathroom and sink area. The bed was actually super comfortable. Nothing special about the motel. The cleaning lady dodnt speak English so was a little hard to communicate when we needed extra items in the room. The man who check me in was not super talkative but not rude or anything. Just very meh. Id stay again but maybe only for a night .

Nicely renovated rooms. Comfortable bed. Bring ear plugs if loud street traffic bothers you or loud fans from the HVAC system. With the plugs in, I slept well. I have no complaints at all.

Fantastic value. Like others have said, doesn't look like much from the outside, but the remodel is custom inside and is really nice. I especially like the low arm chair and round coffee table, really convenient. No closet but had a more-than-adequate set of hooks and luggage rack. Really good use of space and high quality fixtures.

You can tell they made efforts to update the building, but unfortunately the floors are in a sorry state. Creaking in a precarious manner.

Wasn’t expecting much, but this place really exceeded my expectations! Especially for the price point, definitely best bang for the buck!
(Note: They were working on some sidings between 9am-6pm, but I arrived after 6 and left before 9 the next day, so can’t say anything about noise from construction – and perhaps they lower the price to compensate for this situation).
Location is right on a busy street so occasional noise from the street can be heard, but nothing too loud that would bother my sleep between 11-8, and my room was ground floor right next to the stairs, some organic noise from people walking the stairs and room above.
Room smells good and very clean, seems like the room has been renovated recently. There’s little imperfections here and there if one really want to look but otherwise room is perfect for what I need.
Parking right in front of rooms, so convenient for loading/unloading luggages. And it’s Bend, I don’t feel unsafe at all even though the door face right to the street and parking lot.

I normally don’t do motels, but this place I was pleasantly surprised! The motel is very centrally located, it’s updated, very clean, and not weird smells. The bed was very comfy. The only thing I would dock would probably be the showerhead, it was very low, and felt like a pressure washer, but at least the water was hot and had good pressure. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The deadbolt on the door wouldn't work and the door didn't latch shut unless you slammed it. I was a little concerned that the sheets, while appearing to be clean, looked a bit dingy, for lack of a better word. Overall, for the price, it's a good deal.

I believe The Dunes Motel is the very best value in Bend, Oregon! They rates are excellent and the rooms are extremely nice for the money. They have been remodeled and provide a nice TV, microwave , refrigerator, great WiFi, eco-friendly soaps, shampooand luxurious towels!
The beds are very comfortable! I cannot find one item to complain about!
There is a nice Black Bear restaurant across the street and a great seafood restaurant, Rosacks, just a couple of blocks south of here.
The Dunes Motel's central location is perfect for medical visits to St. Charles facilities or local shopping!
The owners are super nice too!

They remodeled hotel room. It looked very nice, it was very clean, all fixtures were new. Bed was comfortable and heater worked really good we enjoyed our stay there.

Loved this place, will stay again. Loved the upgraded touches, like the motion-activated bathroom light, and the lighted mirror in the sink area. The upgrades are wonderful, and the bed super comfortable. Loved it!

The rooms are clean and have been updated. The water in the shower doesn't get hot..., the TV leaves something to be desired. It was and ok place to stay... not worth the price i I don't think

It was adequate for what we need for a quick stop one night stay and the bed was comfortable and the A/C was most appreciated…..it was a decent place to stay for a great cost!!!
The only caveat is that they only gave us half a to roll and so we had to go to the front desk to get a new one
