Fitch Lodge - Key West Historic Inns

I have stayed in many places in key west, this was by far the cleanest, reliable, friendly and spacious place we have stayed yet.

Overall, we enjoyed our 4-night stay at this historic inn. Our room (#5) was small, but comfortable. The staff at the front desk were all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast arrangement is fantastic: vouchers to use each morning at a wonderful bakery/espresso shop just a block away (Old Town Bakery). Our only hesitation in returning is that the location is a very noisy one. Our room was at the front of the property right on Eaton Street, which is a very busy, heavily-trafficked street. We were awakened by the traffic noise (delivery trucks, motorcycles, emergency vehicles) late at night and early in the morning. There are rooms located at the back of the property that might be quieter. BTW, the air conditioning in our room worked great and provided "white noise" that partially mitigated the traffic noise.

Parking was difficult. Had to park streets away at first, and then we were able to find a closer spot.

Great loction close to Duval and walking distance to many, many restaurants and shops. Pool was very nice, Front desk staff was lovely,
