This is a hidden gem in Redington Shores. Large, clean rooms with lots of extras. Steps to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I’ve stayed here before however, this time my room exceeded my expectations. It appeared to be brand new. Beach chairs were available for free. Private beach, private, swimming pool. You couldn’t ask for anything more.

Beds could’ve been a little softer, but other than that it was perfect. We can’t wait to go back!

I was drawn to this hotel from a review that described it as a "hidden gem." Upon arrival I found my greeting to be underwhelming. The person who checked me in gave no smile and I felt as if they couldn't wait for me to stop asking clarifying questions. As a solo traveler and mom to a young child I wanted nothing more then quiet relaxation and a few good nights sleep. I found my room to be small though clean and updated. My room was right next to the pool so at first I was worried it would be loud, but it wasn't and it was actually really nice to be able to slip right out of my room for a dip. The pool area was lovely with palm trees all around and protected from the wind off the ocean. It was a short walk from my room to the beach which was also lovely and chaise loungers were provided to relax on. I would describe Redington as a quiet beach town, very walkable to cafes and food. IF YOU WANT A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GET IT. I found the bed to be lumpy and uncomfortable. Even worse were the bright lights shining through the flimsy shades on the windows coming from the pool/walkway on one side of the room and parking lot on the other side of the room. The noise outside the room at night was unbelievable! A staff member was rolling a mop bucket which sounded like a giant, rumbling storm around 2 am every night. The first night I stuck my head out the door because I was so alarmed and informed them how loud it was yet they continued to do it every night.

Outlets frequently popped circuit. No lamp in the room. Toilets didn’t flush well. Had to request clean towels twice during our one week stay. Courtyard is very nice. Beach area has shade and sun. Staff is friendly.

I checked in on a Sunday night and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. On Monday, when I went to check beach towels out, I asked about renting a chair. The lady on duty rented me a chair for $10. When I went to the beach and realized there were free loungers, I went back to the office to ask about those chairs which she said were free but never offered to refund my money. Considering i was charged a resort fee for two days when one of those I checked in late and then checked out before 7:00 am you would think she would have returned the $10 for a chair rental that I didn’t need was poor customer service in my opinion. I am not sure I would return.

Very clean, nice rooms. Directly on a nice stretch of beach. Not a lot of fancy but everything that counts is here.

Very pleased with our stay at Hotel Sol. The Suite was very spacious and super clean!! We will definitely stay anytime we are in Redington Beach!!
