The stay was great. Room was nice. Buffet was really good. Staff was on point with everything so nice and friendly. Only down fall was not enough towels in our room for showers with such a big family but not their fault.

Upon checking in we were informed that the pool and jacuzzi were under repair and not available. We requested a room that we normally stay in, and it was not clean. There was food and trash left on the floor. Also one of the beds had dirty linens that we had to change. The drink machine at breakfast was broke and there were two slices of bread and one bagel available in the bins. The washing machine on our floor was out of order. The elevator smelled terrible and the walls and floor were filthy inside. We were also told that no pets stay on the third floor, thats why request that floor because we are allergic. Yet we were woke up to a very large dog on our floor. The hotel had only about 8 cars in the parking lot, so they were not totally booked. We stay at this hotel at least once a month while in town visiting family and this is the worst I have seen it. I refuse to pay these rates for a one-star condition hotel that this one has become. I will be looking at staying somewhere else while in town.

One night stay. Will use this hotel again. Very friendly staff. Only change would be not to stay in same room on ground floor - the smoke/fire monitor was cycling on and off all night - made a high pitch buzzing in the room as if we had tinnitus. Wasnt enough for us to change room though; but we didnt realize what it was until morning! Breakfast was good.

Our stay was wonderful. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. I loved the hot tub. The breakfast was delicious and you can never go wrong with biscuits and gravy. It was convenient to everywhere we needed to go. Would stay her again!

Nice room and very friendly staff. Right by the freeway but not too noisy. The breakfast was good and had a big selection of hot and cold food. One restaurant close enough to walk but others within 3-4 miles. Room and bathroom clean, big room tv and good AC.

The hotel itself is a nice hotel. It is clean, staff is mostly friendly and they have a nice breakfast. Our problem was they put us in room #124, right next to the lobby/breakfast area/elevator and ice machine. It was noisy inside until after 11 PM. At 1:15 AM a group of boys who were there for a baseball tournament decided to play football right outside our room. They were so loud that they woke us up. We attempted to call the desk and got no answer. After a half hour we went to the desk and asked them to ask the kids to quiet down. We did not get much sleep that night. That room should not be a guest room!

I liked the option of using a handicapped room, very helpful for my father, the staff was very attentive and the breakfast also was very good, the only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that breakfast closed a little too early, maybe should’ve been 10/10:30.

Staff member at check-in was very friendly and courteous. Staff in evening was helpful and willing to brew us more coffee which was much appreciated. Great start to our family vacation. Hotel is clean.Beds comfy. Room a bit to small for 7 adults. Maybe if some of us were children it would be ok but manageable size regardless.Pool just right size and hot tube is wonderful after a long drive. Great place to stay and priced well.

The staff was prompt and friendly location was nice but could hear freeway. (Wasn’t a bad thing) can walk to Cracker Barrel! Yay!

The big issue I had with the property was the noise. It's very close to hwy 77 and you could hear every car and truck go by. The windows did not seem well insulated and all of the noise came through. Had a difficult time sleeping.

Quick check in, slow check out. Room had everything we needed and breakfast had more than enough. Was pretty frustrated about their pool. I asked about it before booking and again when I checked in, & nobody bothered to mention the pools heater was broken so the water was freezing.. my toddler talked for days about swimming and didn’t get the chance. Other than that can’t complain

Stayed for 1 night with my family after reserving a room the day previously. Highly recommend. Nice pool and decent hot tub (perfect after hiking all day in Hocking State Park) Great breakfast! Great service! Great check-in process! No need to pack shower toiletries. Quite happy with our stay.

Our stay was amazing. The lady that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. I asked for an accomodation and they granted it and it was already in the system when I got there. Pool and hot tub was a plus traveling with the kids. Breakfast was good, a lot of choices and the lady serving it had gifts for the kids, that she bought herself ❤️ definitely brightened my kids day!

The Holiday Inn Express at Mineral Wells, West Virginia is not worth the $170 I spent to stay there. The desk clerk didn't smile once when she checked me in. The room doors have a tricky handle on them, and I had to seek assistance 3 times to get my room open. When I asked to be transferred to a room that had a door that opened normally, I was told "None of them work! They all are tricky." That was the beginning of a stay that went downhill from there. The property is dirty and littered with cigarette butts and dog poop. There seem to be many workmen around the property... maybe it's the "Men's Club Bar Show" on the nearby property that attracts them... The hotel is noisy and not worth the price they charge. I made a poor decision when choosing to book through Expedia and stay at a Holiday Inn Express. I won't make the same mistake again.

I thought this hotel was cleaner than most in the area. Great place for girls sleepovers, in which I have used this place multiple times.
Pros: Clean, great breakfast, and well priced
Cons: Front desk lady was very rude, and only offer soap (Dove) I'm allergic to so I have to bring everything I could need

Clean as usual, still don’t like that the smoking area is at the front door. Had an issue with the noise from next room starting at 5am, gave up trying to sleep at 9am and called front desk. Noise didn’t stop until right before we left at 10. Talked to front desk and only reply was they had checked out just before we did and they were sorry but didn’t take any action. There were 5 employees at front desk area, 3 smoking at front door. Plenty of people to address issues. We won’t be back.

The jacuzzi tub was the biggest we've encountered at a hotel. Also the breakfast was fresh & many more choices than traditional continental breakfast. Clean hotel & very friendly staff.
