I was looking for an affordable and safe place to stay for a wedding. The customer service at check-in was very good and the room was clean.

Everything was fine: I was looking for the cheapest non-sketchy h/motel I could find in the area, and this met my expectations. Checkin was great, the woman working was very friendly and helpful. The room was sufficient: nice for a motel, clean enough (except for one rogue dirty washcloth), and fine for my needs for a quick work trip. The mattress had a big sag on one side --- the place where I'm sure everyone sits when they first come in! But as a solo traveler the other side was fine for me. And the area felt safe. Breakfast was a little lacking -- no protein, just fruit, packaged baked goods, cereal, toast, and waffles. I would have appreciated a hardboiled egg.

The property is not in a good area, there is a long alley drive to the property with people lingering on the drive. The property is old, dated and very worn.

It was such an awful experience of staying in Quality Inn And Suites Gilroy. Very poor property condition and facilities: The door keys didn't work, the staff tried to reprogram the keys but they were still not working. Toilet has no flushing power, we had to flush the toilet at least 4 to 5 times every time we used the toilet. There was a pretty big size of insect in the bathtub. A big crack underneath the door, the strong cold wind blew right inside the room, we had to use a bath towel to seal the door crack. The heater was extremely loud when it was turned on, we woke up the whole night by the very loud noise of the heater. The surface of the desk was broken. The fridge was old. All the lamp covers have stains. Stains on the bed sheet covers. We will NEVER GO BACK to this inn.

The area is quiet and the rooms were clean if not a bit dated and tired. A leaky sick and difficult shower faucet should be updated. The breakfast is not recommended. There was nothing for gluten intolerant people as almost everything was wheat based. There was toast, muffins, and a waffle maker. The coffee was terrible. The staff was friendly even at the late hour our party checked in and provided us with adjoining rooms, which was very helpful.

We had to move rooms twice but the receptionist said as amazing. Mildew smell Coming from all the ac units and homeless people living under some of rooms. You can see the tents under the windows etc..

This was the worst pace I have ever seen. The girl at the desk was super friendly but warned me that if I left my window open I would see homeless people walking by. Their were dirty cars parked in the lot. I could not access the room because my key wouldn’t work. I told the girl at the desk I wasn’t comfortable staying. She was very understanding and said I had to contact Expedia to get my money back. Fortunately I found a hotel a few blocks down that was wonderful and was only two bucks more. I am not a big fan of Expedia. Trying to get a refund is a horrible experience. Why this property is even listed on hotels.com is beyond me. The pictures are so deceptive. Please do not stay here unless you don’t mind homeless people wandering around near the property. There is a shelter down the street.

I reserved a non smoking room, this room reeked of cigarette smoke. The two beds had bed covers with cigarette burns in them. The head boards were scratched. The ceiling was yellow and dirty. The floors were dirty, our socks looked black from walking on it. The air conditioning didn’t work well. It made the room feel stuffy. We couldn’t open the windows to get any sunlight or fresh air due to the homeless encampment that was right outside our window. We were so uncomfortable with this place we didn’t even stay the second night. I will never stay here again.

Mold in bathroom. Dog next door started barking before 5am. Called office and owner of dog was supposed to be contacted but dog continued to bark. Room had nasty odor. We left because to noisy to sleep. Outside garbage was overflowing and reeked. Gross experience.

It was ok. Breakfast was waffles toast pasteries yogurts. Orange juice & Coffee. Rooms were ok. Couldn't open window curtain due to homeless encampment right at window. And with having a family with children for the stay that was really hard to block out the window area.

Continental breakfast is not great unless you prefer a waffle. It needs more than that! Also, coffee in the room is nice, BUT, no coffee cups in the room! Guess you have to supply your own?

When checking in the lady at the front counter wasn’t very friendly. I get the keys to the room and when I get inside, the walls look like they had old blood stains on them. I let them know so the next day someone came and cleaned it up but you could still see it. Then there was a kids sock in the room and it wasn’t mine nor my daughters cause she’s 6’ft and wore sandals all weekend. Just overall not good.

The young lady working the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Very kind and when I walked up asking if we could possibly get two more comforters she was very sweet and went to go get them herself and brought them to our room. The beds were both comfortable a little soft for my liking but not bad. One of the beds did squeak a little bit but fortunately I don't move much of my sleep. Unfortunately the pillows were all hard as rocks so those weren't too comfortable. Couldn't find any kid friendly stations on the TV but we spent most of our time at Gilroy Gardens so that was just fine. The breakfast was well organized, had plenty of seating, and the room was very clean.
